As an experienced cat sitter, my passion for cats runs deep. Cats, to me, embody a uniqueness that has filled my soul with their existence of being such wonderful souls. Though I currently don't own any cats due to my commitments as a research specialist and soon to be graduate student, I've immersed myself in casually caring for them through my close involvement with my best friend's four delightful furballs who have created so much peace and joy in my heart, mind and life
Beyond my personal affinity for cats, I bring practical experience to the table. During my undergraduate years, I dedicated myself to volunteering at a shelter that provided refuge for both homeless individuals and their pets. This hands-on role involved cleaning, feeding, and playing with cats and dogs, which not only enriched my understanding of animal care but also reinforced my commitment to their well-being... Professionally, I am currently a graduate student at Drexel University but previously worked as a Research Specialist at Adelphi Values- global healthcare value consultancy firm that blends strong commercial insights with scientific expertise in areas like market access, health economics, and patient-centered outcomes research. A role that demands precision, empathy, and attention to detail—traits essential for understanding and meeting the needs of both clients and their beloved cats. I have quite a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate various neighborhoods across Philadelphia.
I am really just looking forward to gaining more experience on cat sitting and caring for cats as I hope to one day have some of my own. My ability to provide your cats the best care is reinforced by my practical experience and supported by a professional background in research and client service. I am very professional and detailed with/in my work but I also approach every opportunity with grace, joy, enthusiasm and care, ensuring that your cuteness of joy receive the love and attention they deserve during your absence.😸

🎀Refresh water bowls and ensure they are clean and filled with fresh water.
🎀Clean the litter box thoroughly to maintain hygiene and comfort for your cat.
🎀Administer any prescribed medication with care and according to your instructions.
🎀Ensure to clean up any mess made.
🎀Bring in any packages or mail delivered to your home
🎀Provide you with regular updates on your cat's health and behavior, including any concerns or notable changes.
🎀Engage your cat in stimulating play sessions tailored to their preferences
🎀Offer gentle affection and cuddles, respecting your cat's cues for interaction and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable
😸After each visit I will:
🎀Ensure all feeding bowls and utensils are washed and stored properly, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
🎀Check and refill water bowls to ensure your cat has access to fresh water throughout the day.
🎀Dispose of any waste from the litter box and replace litter if necessary, ensuring a clean and odor-free environment.
🎀Securely store any medications and ensure they are ready for the next administration, following your specified instructions.
🎀Tidy up the cat's play area, returning toys to their designated places and organizing any accessories.
🎀Provide a detailed update on your cat's activities, behavior, and any concerns noted during the visit.
🎀Bring in any other package or mail delivered to your home.
🎀Double-check all doors, windows, and other access points to ensure they are securely closed to prevent any potential escapes.
🎀Leave your home in the condition it was found.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have a deep love for cats, though I don't currently own any due to my studies; I’ve gained experience through volunteering at shelters and caring for my best friend's cats I also became a Meowtel sitter 5 months ago so I have a lot of experience from that as well! I bring empathy and attention to detail from my many experiences with volunteering and not only pet volunteering services but generally putting myself to help out in a community where I can. What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Well, I enjoy it firstly because of the CATS!! Their unique personalities and the joy they bring are truly special. It's fulfilling to provide them with the care, love and attention that they deserve, knowing I'm making a positive difference in their day.as they are doing the same for me

Chizoba took excellent care of our elder kitty, making adjustments along the way to be sure she ate (reluctant eater) and got her meds regularly. "Z" also spent a good deal of time giving her plenty of affection, and I think this was the reason that our cat friend was doing much better than usual when we returned home. Very happy with her care!

Zoba is the loveliest person and she took exceptionally good care of our senior girl Winnie. Zoba’s updates to us were prompt and detailed, and she won over our sometimes mercurial kitty with her calm and attentive demeanor. She is so upbeat, caring, and clearly LOVES cats. She was wonderful to communicate with before, during, and after the visit. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Philadelphia cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Zoba was greeeat with my little one. Upon meeting her, I felt like she genuinely cares for cats which made me feel better about leaving for a few days. Her updates were very detailed and any behavior she perceived as strange with my cat was communicated right away. When I returned my cat was her usual self with no obvious signs of stress which is huuuge for me!
