When I visit your cat, I’m not someone who will simply refill a food bowl, scoop the litter, and leave. If your kitty is amenable, I’ll spend real time playing, cuddling, brushing, talking to them, or just quietly sitting nearby and keeping them company. Some of my happiest moments are simply sitting beside a contented cat and giving them affection... I’ve loved cats for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always had a special connection with them, even shy, cautious, and feisty kitties often seem to warm up to me. I believe in letting cats set the pace, respecting their boundaries, and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
When I visit your cat, I’m not someone who will simply refill a food bowl, scoop the litter, and leave. If your kitty is amenable, I’ll spend real time playing, cuddling, brushing, talking to them, or just quietly sitting nearby and keeping them company. Some of my happiest moments are simply sitting beside a contented cat and giving them affection.
I’m also very comfortable caring for cats with medical needs. I cared for my own chronically ill kitty for years and have experience administering pills and subcutaneous medications and fluids. I have a gentle, patient approach and understand how important it is to keep medication time as calm and stress-free as possible. I also know cat CPR.
Most importantly, I understand how nerve-racking it can be to leave your cat, even when you know they’re in good hands. I’ll communicate with you consistently, send plenty of photos and updates, and immediately let you know if I notice anything unusual.
Your cat isn’t “just a pet.” They’re your baby. I’ll treat them with the same care, patience, attention, and love I would want someone to give my own. Cats are genuinely magical little creatures, and I feel incredibly lucky anytime I get to spend time with them.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting since I was about 10 years old, starting with neighbors, family friends, and people in my community. Over the years, that grew into professional cat sitting in Los Angeles through local families, neighbors, referrals, and a pet care service. Many of my clients came to me through word of mouth after other cat parents recommended me. I’ve often been called a “cat whisperer” because even very shy, cautious, or stranger-averse cats tend to warm up to me quickly. I’m patient, gentle, and very good at reading a cat’s body language and letting them decide when they’re ready to interact. I truly love all animals, but cats have always held an especially big place in my heart. I think they’re extraordinary, majestic little beings who deserve patience, affection, respect, and excellent care, and I’m always happy to give them all of it.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I love most about cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s individual personality and earning their trust. I especially love the quiet moments…when a shy cat finally comes over, curls up nearby, starts purring, or decides that I’m safe enough to be their friend. Cats are incredibly intuitive, unique little beings, and I genuinely enjoy giving them the time, attention, affection, and respect they deserve. Spending time with cats never feels like a chore to me; it’s honestly one of my favorite ways to spend my time.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I’m available for any and all holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and other major holidays. Over the past few years, holiday pet sitting has actually become a tradition that I really love. I’m usually able to keep my holiday schedule very flexible, and I genuinely enjoy spending that time caring for cats while their families are away. It feels good knowing that I’m helping cat parents travel or enjoy the holidays with peace of mind, and I love having a furry friend—or two or three or four, hehe—to spend some quiet holiday time with. I’m very happy to provide extra love, attention, playtime, and companionship so your kitty feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
