Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one cat, her name is Luna. She is an orange tabby that my friends found on the side of the road. She was small and crusty and she buried herself in my neck and I knew she had to come home with me.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Usually yes, I am available for holidays, though sometimes I travel out of state for Christmas and the winter holidays.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite is the cat dancer toy, the one that’s a wire with cardboard at the end of it. The movement is random so it helps their hunting instincts, but it’s also just cardboard so they can chew on it without worry. And they all seem to really love it.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience. I will sit nearby and talk to them, or do something else entirely so they can just get used to my presence and know I’m not a threat. I will hold out my hand for sniffs, and if they’re not interested I will stop, but the next time I try I’ll get a little bit closer. I will ask about their favorite toys and treats so I can have them close by, and usually I leave a treat near them first and walk away. Each treat gets a little bit closer to where I am to try to create trust.

Jenna made sure everything was perfect! My 20 yr old blind and deaf kitty and 15 yr old kitty (Trouble) loved her. I was in the hospital and knowing the girls were being well cared for was reassuring. I went to the ER and Jenna started unexpected visits twice daily that afternoon… I really appreciated her flexibility! the photos and comments kept me smiling and I could see everything was normal. I’m very grateful to have Jenna as the girls’ sitter and thankful for her hard work and attention to detail!

Jenna did an awesome job with my 2 mischievous kitties. My old girl (20 yrs old, blind,deaf) made it all the way across the house to hide under the guest room bed. Soon after she was spotted eating her sisters dinner across the house lol!! Jenna’s always punctual and the cats (usually shy) warmed right up to her. I highly recommend Jenna and appreciate her efforts and flexibility when I had to have emergency surgery and needed her for 2 weeks.

Jenna was professional and amazing to work with. One of our babies got sick the night before our trip and she had no problems to follow through with giving medication while we were gone. The babies loved her. She provided great communication and pictures daily! Would definitely use Jenna again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Bluffton cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
