Hello, my name is Sherri and I’m a veterinary technician with about 25 years experience in caring for all different types of cats; from shy to sociable to spicy. Each cat is special with their own unique personalities and behaviors. My hope is to give you peace of mind that your cat(s) are comfortable, happy and well cared for while you are away from home.

I have three sweet cats myself, one who has asthma and requires a inhaler twice a day. My cats are my heart, their names are; Grey, Rosemary and Thyme. Grey is my sweet, lovable big boy, who just turned 16 years old. Rosemary and Thyme are my playful twins, they are 6 years old and full of mischief. I hope to talk with you and learn all about your cat(s) soon.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Charleston cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

My cat isn’t always the sweetest and typically very shy, but Sherri Had him coming out of his comfort zone on her first visit while I was out of town. Typically, he does not take well to other people and I can tell from the photos he enjoyed her company.

We can not say enough good things about Sherri! Our cat Norman got sick about a week before we were leaving for a 10 day honeymoon and ended up being on a number of medications he needed twice a day. Sherri was not phased by this at all and Norman got all his medicine and so much love and attention while we were away! Recieving her updates and pictures while we were traveling was such a comfort and I could not have asked for anyone to do a better job of taking care of our little Norman! 😺😺😺

Two of my 3 kitties need twice-daily medication (insulin shots and eye drops) and corralling them to give it can be a challenge! Sherri did a great job with it all. She played, fed, scooped and sent lots of pictures. She even put down my outside umbrellas before an impending tropical storm! Will absolutely have Sherri take care of my kitties again!

Sherri (PAWSitively PURRfect Cat Sitting) is an excellent cat sitter that we will definitely be using again. Do you know how you can just tell when somebody is a cat person? Yeah, I got that feeling from Sherri immediately. This was the first time we went away since our kitties were born, and I was super paranoid (as new moms are). Sherri came over for a meet and greet, and she asked all the right cat care questions, which already put me at ease. She sent me detailed updates on her daily visits telling me the services she provided and the status of all important items. She also sent some really cute pictures and even a video. She even peaked in on my turtle which was not necessary but I really appreciated. I also really like that she previously worked as a vet tech; it really gave me extra peace of mind. I have one kitty that is a big wuss. Every time we had some we had someone over, he would go running like the devil was on his tail and hide under the treadmill. Well, the very first day she watched my cats, she sent me pictures and a video of her petting him! She really is a cat whisperer. A+

Sherri has taken care of my kitty Pemberley 2 times, the week of the holidays in Dec. & again in April. Sherri is super friendly, kind, trustworthy, & is great with my fur baby! My shy girl came right out and played with her! Love that she takes pics & videos of the my Pembe. That helped ease my worry (my kitty is newly adopted special needs adult girl with 2 teeth). Sherri was great with her special food which has to be kept wrapped really tight to keep it fresh & easy for Pembe to eat. I would 100 % recommend anyone looking for a amazing cat sitter to use Sherri, she’s great with the kitties & really cares about them!!!
