I have years of experience with kitties of all ages and behaviors. I will ensure that your kitty is at ease while you travel. I am in tune to any changes in behavior or stress factors and health concerns. It's not about just picking out the litter pan, throwing some food down and leaving. I spend quality time with your baby and pack a variety of things to help ease their anxiety by your absence such as toys, treats, along with bird and squirrel videos for them to watch (all with your permission of course.)
I can administer meds, shots, etc. and provide pics/videos every visit.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
My first actual paid cat sitting experience was when I was 14 and continued on thru the years, even if only on a part time basis. I am 61 now....so decades.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love making the kitties feel at ease. I love to make sure they feel like they are on vacation as well and understand that I love them as much as their pawrents do.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
Omg. How do I answer this? They all end up as my favorite. One that does stand out is when I was told that I wouldn't see the cat...that he never came out for even them so just put the food out and leave. Instead, I had to make sure the kitty was ok...so I searched everyday to find his hiding spots and when I did, (Lucky was his name) I would talk to him and offer him a treat. After the third day, he broke completely out of his shell and met me when I arrived. I then began to play with him. I snapped a pic and sent it to his mom...and she about fainted. She said when she got home, he was a completely different cat and was continuing to come out all the time.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I allow them to decompress in a quiet area. I do not force interaction while I look for signs of acceptance of me with their subtle language. They might slowly close their eyes as I talk softly to them or relax a paw outward from the rest of their body. They may even shift their weight entirely and look away in an aloof way yet that movement is actually indicating that they are no longer worried I'm going to ambush them. I will try moving a feather toy gently back and forth to see if I can get them to follow it with their eyes. When I see them reach for the toy, I know they are forgetting about their worries and beginning to focus on positive happy things.. From there, things usually progress to the kitty coming out of its shell.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Inman cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
