What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love the personality differences between kitties and being able to provide owners with peace of mind while away. Every cat is so different from those who love to play to those who just want a lap and some good neck scratches! I love seeing each personality and accommodating their needs. I also understand the stress of leaving your pets to go away and the heightened stress when your baby requires medication. I would love to provide peace of mind to owners knowing they have an option if their pet requires medication and that they are leaving their baby with someone who will love and care for them as their own.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two kitties! My lazy food lover is Shelly, she’s a domestic medium hair and black and white! She loves soaking up the sun in the catio! My other baby is Howie. He is ultimate cuddle bug! He loves to follow me around the house, play with his bouncy ball toy, and loves treat puzzles! He is also polydactyl and has 7 toes on each front food and 5 on each back foot!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
As a veterinary professional and a elite fear free certified professional I am well versed on body language and building trust with nervous and timid kitties! I am on their pace, trust is earned over time with positive reinforcement. I offer a calming presence, get on their level and allow kitties to smell me/approach me on their pace. I never force anything and always prepare in the meet and greet favorite snacks as an extra bribe! 😊

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
