I grew up surrounded by cats, including barn cats. At one point, I think we had around 17 of them! They just kept multiplying! Iāve had cats for as long as I can remember, and that love has definitely been passed down to my daughters. Weāre just a family of cat people!
These days, Iām a proud cat mom to three cats. I also foster kittens through Greenville Humane Societyās Healing Place program, caring for little ones who arenāt quite big enough to be adopted yet. Itās something I absolutely love doing!

I know every cat is different. Some want all the cuddles and attention they can get, while others prefer a little space until they decide youāre trustworthy. Iām happy to follow their lead!
When caring for your cats, Iāll make sure theyāre fed, have fresh water, clean litter boxes, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. Iāll follow their normal routines and send you photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing theyāre in good hands.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Iāve been around cats my entire life! I grew up with both indoor cats and barn cats, and at one point we had around 17 of them! These days, I have three cats of my own, and my daughters have cats too. Weāre definitely a cat family! I also foster kittens through Greenville Humane Societyās Healing Place program, caring for little ones until theyāre big enough to be adopted. Iāve had experience with cats of all different personalities and am comfortable giving oral medications and injections when needed. While Iām newer to professional cat sitting, caring for cats has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I treat someone elseās home and pets with the same care and respect Iād want someone to show mine. Iām very careful about doors and making sure cats canāt slip outside. Iāll follow the ownerās instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special routines. Iāll also make sure litter boxes are clean, water is fresh, and everything is secure before leaving. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so communication is really important to me. Iāll send updates and photos during visits so you know how your kitties are doing. And if anything seems unusual or concerning, Iāll let you know right away. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away without worrying about your cats or your home.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I always let cats come to me on their own terms. Iāve learned over the years, especially through fostering kittens, that every cat has a different personality and comfort level. Some cats warm up right away, while others need a little time to decide if they like you! I never force attention or try to pull a nervous cat out of hiding. Iāll sit nearby, talk softly, and give them space to get comfortable. I think patience is one of the most important things when caring for cats. Even if a kitty never wants cuddles, thatās perfectly fine with me! My goal is for them to feel safe and comfortable while their family is away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
