I like cats of all kinds, out going, shy, ones that like being held and those that don’t etc. I just recently discovered this app so my only other cat sitting experience so far was watching my sister’s boyfriend’s cat for about a week one time. Despite my pack of experience, I am an animal lover and eager to learn about cat sitting from experience if you would be willing to give me the opportunity to do so.

I have volunteered with cats at the animal shelter before and I have four cats at home of my own.

I do have 4 cats, an himilayan named Kasper, a saimese named Chloe, an orange tabby named Ember, and a tabby named Fluffy

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Ask questions about the cats personality and preferences. How shy are they? What is their favorite activity? What is their favorite food? Do they have any health issues I should be aware of like allergies or behavioral issues? I want to do the best job I can so whatever they can tell me to help with that is much appreciated as they know their cats better than I do.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
