What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I've been a cat parent for 6 years, but I have always enjoyed being around cats. I've cat (and fish) sat for friends and family for about 10 years now. He tenido mis gatos por estos últimos 6 años, pero siempre me ha gustado estar cerca de gatos. He cuidado los gatos (y peces) de mis amigos y familiares durante 10 años.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love just chilling with the cat(s), I don’t mind playing with them or letting them be around while I read or something, allowing them to come to me when they (cats) feel comfortable. I love playing with them (and rough housing for those cattitudes that welcome it!). Me encanta relajarme con los gatos, no me importa si es jugar con ellos un rato o dejar que estén a mi alrededor mientras leo o algo, permitiéndoles venir a mí cuando se sientan cómodos. Me encanta jugar con ellos (¡con fuerzas para aquellas actitudes que lo acogen!).

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One of my favorite cat sitting moments was when I was booked to go feed two cats at someone's grandmothers house; there was an orange hair DSH and a void waiting for me. I was prepared for anxious cats but when I arrived, I was met with such personable purr-sonalities! The void was an excited hisser (my first one) and it would crack me up to be hissed as while I was petting them (and they were purring!!). Uno de mis momentos favoritos fue cuando fui a alimentar a dos gatos a la casa de una abuela; había un DSH de pelo naranja y una gata negra esperándome. Me habian dicho que los gatos eran ansiosos, pero cuando llegué, ¡me encontré con gaticos tan agradables! La negra bufia de la emoción (el primero) y me reia al ver que sisea cuando yo la acariciaba (¡¡mientras ronroneaba!!)

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes, I have two; Luna & Xenzu (Zen-sue). Both are from the humane society, Xenzu was a stray who was caught and Luna was born at the humane society Sí, tengo dos; Luna y Xenzu. Ambos son de la sociedad protectora de animales, Xenzu era gato callejero que fue capturado y Luna nació en la sociedad protectora de animales.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I offer meet & greets first so kitty & their human may visit my home. Ofrezco encuentros de antemano, para que el gatito y su humano puedan visitar mi casa.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am usually home during the holidays. I do travel but I make sure to block those dates on my calendar.
