Frankly, cats are a major part of my personality.
I grew up in the country and had multiple indoor-outdoor cats as well as a colony while I was growing up. I now have 1 fully indoor cat that gets catio time & recently loves to hike with us!
I love spending time with any and all kitties. I ESPECIALLY appreciate the challenge of getting shy kitties to open up to me.
My fur baby, Willow, has chronic calicivirus. Due to this condition, after a routine teeth cleaning and removal, she developed an intense amount of swelling in her eye. Unfortunately, our vet at the time was underprepared to manage this condition, and Willow quickly lost all vision. She had the impacted eye removed in October 2022 and has been the sweetest and happiest baby ever since!
In 2024 she was diagnosed with small cell lymphoma of the digestive tract and we are now navigating her care needs... Hello!

We do daily steroids, monthly vitamin B12 injections, and biweekly chemotherapy capsules. But you can bet your bottom dollar that we’re giving her all the care (and treats) to get her through this! 🫶 If your baby also has cancer or other health concerns, I am happy to discuss any needs for your scheduled visits!
Using portrait mode to take pictures of cats is my favorite pastime.
I'm also a plant girly so I will definitely water your plants if specified ahead of time. Even if you don't want me to water them I will definitely take lots of time to admire them.
Outside of kitties, I am a Counseling Psychology PhD Student at the University of Memphis. I’m working on training as a therapist and researching the impacts of community and social identity groups on individuals with multiple marginalized identities.
In my free time I enjoy singing, writing, gardening & finding new hobbies every other month.
I own my car & it is a reliable 2017 Hyundai Sonata. If you asked my friends, boss, or family about me they would likely all comment that I aspire to work hard & do good work.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Besides hanging out with kitties, I love sending you photos and videos of your babies! When I’m away, I just LOVE seeing my kitty, especially when the photos show how happy she is, even while her favorite people are away ❤️I also love love love videos so I can see the care she is getting!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I’d highly recommend looking for glowing reviews with specific details about what a client liked. Something like “She was great, kitty loved her.” Is a little vague… also if your preferred sitter is unavailable, feel free to ask them who they might recommend! I’m a sitter, but also occasionally a customer on Meowtel!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I’m a huge believer that getting down on their level is so important. I typically prefer hanging out with kitties on the floor so that I seem to be less of a threat. Additionally, as the saying goes: slow and steady wins the race. I’m happy to start out the relationship slow until there is some trust there. Outside of this, I love to hear advice from the parent(s)! Sometimes the initial approach is the hardest thing to orchestrate. So, if your kitty has a favorite snack, toy, or sound (such as a bag opening) please let me know so I can work to associate things they love with my presence!

Bobbie is AMAZING! She is attentive, caring, and thoughtful in how she approaches her job. We are definitely protective cat-parents and were nervous about leaving our clowder (5 cats!) for a week and a half. We found Bobbie on Meowtel and are so glad we did! We alternated days between Bobbie and family members and every day that we knew Bobbie was going to the house, we’d say, “Yay! It’s a Bobbie day!” We knew she’d spend lots of good time with our kitties and send awesome updates about how everyone was doing. Bobbie was super nice, but unfortunately the service didn’t live up to my expectations. My cat’s litter wasn’t well cleaned, her water was low, and my cat seemed anxious and bored when I got home, like she hadn’t been well socialized. I also felt like the return of my keys could have been handled a little differently and more conveniently. Again, Bobbie was a super nice person, the visit just didn’t live up to my expectations, especially for the relatively high price.

Bobbie is great! I must say I am impressed, especially since my cat is usually shy, but he got familiar with Bobbie right away. Bobbie followed all the instructions and treated my cat well ( changing his water, giving him treats, etc.). She played with him, and he liked her, which is very important to me. I even had to add one more day to my reservation because my cat liked her so much. There was a snowstorm during my reservation (1-2 days), but Bobbie still came to take care of Ollie. I really appreciate her dedication! In addition, kudos to Meowtel! This was my first time using the service, and I'm sure I'll use it again. My reservations were during the holidays, around New Year's, so it was a bit difficult to contact my cat sitter at first. I reached out to Meowtel, and they got in touch with her right away. They kept communicating with me to ensure I was comfortable and that everything was going smoothly with my reservations and other requests. Thank you!

This was my second time using her and it was beautiful to see my shy and very spoiled old man warming up to her as she earned his trust through her patience and overall kitty expertise. I hate leaving my nearly 18 year old boy for any amount of time, but it’s an invaluable comfort to me knowing that Bobbie is taking great care of him and showing him so much love.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Memphis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Bobbie was awesome with our two kitties! She gave us detailed updates about feeding and litter usage as well as very cute pictures of our friendly boy, Asi. Although our shy girl didn't quite make an appearance, Bobbie did a wonderful job being calm and helping Max feel safe enough that she poked her head out, which is leaps and bounds beyond what I thought she'd do! Bobbie did such a great job watching my six month old kitten, Linus! Being a kitten, Linus needs extra play time and attention and Bobbie went above and beyond to make sure he got lots of love, snuggles, and attention.
