What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been pet sitting for about 20 years now; I have always loved animals and so have been the person people turn to when they need a sitter.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes I do! I have two cats- Eloise (brown tabby DMH) and Teddy (black and white DSH)! They are both rescues and are now best friends.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Look for someone who has a cat! Too many people are looking for a quick dollar or think cat sitting will be just like watching a dog, but if they don’t have a cat in their personal life, I just don’t think they understand proper cat care!

Bart takes care of your cat(s) as if they were his own. I have seen Bart on my home security cameras talking to my cats and spending time with them while also giving treats, cleaning litter, feeding, and watering. My cats tend to be shy, but never hide when he arrives. He has good energy and cats can detect that in a human. He is THE best pet sitter and human. He is trustworthy, kind, and sympathetic to your animals’ needs. A MUST hire!

I cannot recommend Bart enough! He was incredibly engaged with my cats and made sure they got plenty of attention while I was away. It’s clear that he truly cares about animals, as my cats took to him immediately. He followed all of my instructions perfectly, which gave me such peace of mind. On top of being great with the pets, he was respectful of my home and left everything exactly as found. I will definitely be booking him again!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
