Because Iāve cared for cats with such different temperaments, I really understand that thereās no one-size-fits-all approach. When I meet a new cat, I take things slow... Hi! Iām Jinsol, a cat lover and proud mom of four orange cats: Aladdin, Jasmine, Rajah, and Abu (now guess my fav movie!š§āāļø). Each one came into my life at a different time, but somehow they all clicked right away and became the sweetest little family. Living with them has taught me so much about cat personalities, from confident explorers to shy introverts who take time to come out of their shell. I have half and half!
Because Iāve cared for cats with such different temperaments, I really understand that thereās no one-size-fits-all approach. When I meet a new cat, I take things slow. Iāll let them sniff my hand, get used to my voice, and decide when theyāre ready for interaction. If theyād rather hide for a while, thatās totally fine! I always check their favorite spots to make sure theyāre safe and comfortable, and I give them plenty of time to warm up at their own pace.
I believe trust is built through patience and consistency. Iāll keep your catās routine steady, make sure theyāre eating well, getting enough play or quiet time, and always feeling secure while youāre away. My cats actually do tear things at home while I am away due to anxiety. So I absolutely understand their feelings!
Whether your cat loves cuddles, conversation, or simply someone calm to hang out with, Iāll treat them with the same love and respect I give my own four.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Iāve been caring for cats for over 7 years, starting with my in law family then adopting my own four. Over the years, Iāve also helped friends and neighbors with cat sitting, from short weekend stays to longer trips. Iām experienced with cats of all temperaments, from playful kittens to shy or senior cats who need extra patience and gentle care. If I share a bit of my own experience, Iāve learned to handle all kinds of eating styles, speeds, and medical needs. One of my cats, Jasmine, eats more slowly than my three boys, so I always feed her separately to make sure she gets her fair share. Iāve also had experience giving both pills and liquid medication, especially when one of my cats got sick or when we moved from Texas to Nashville. Through those experiences, Iāve become very comfortable caring for cats with special routines.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have four orange cats: Aladdin, Jasmine, Rajah, and Abu. They were all adopted at different times, but they bonded right away and act like theyāve always been family. Each one has their own personality: Aladdin is adventurous, Jasmine is gentle and sweet, Rajah is endlessly curious, and Abu is the mischievous little brother. They fill my days with laughter, comfort, and love. Theyāre the reason Iām always happy being home.

Yes, I am! Iām usually available during the holidays, and I actually enjoy spending that quiet time with cats. After more than 10 years of teaching, I really appreciate the calm and peaceful moments I share with them during holidays!

Jinsol is a jewel. I was really nervous about leaving my ginger for a long weekend but it was the best experience. Every day I got a detailed report about my cat and what Jinsol did with him in addition to many pics and videos. The most important thing, though, was how relaxed and chill my boy was when I got back. So he showed me how good of an experience it was. Can't recommend high enough. 5 stars all around.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Nashville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
