Hi! I'm Megan, a long-time cat lover. My cat care started at the age of 13 when my marshmallow of a father was kind enough to let a litter of foster kittens into our home. From there, I haven't been a day without a cat in my life. I have fostered hundreds of kittens, some from 2 days old.

But don't get me wrong, I also love my troubled and grumpy cats. I have worked with abused and TNR cats as well! I have a deep understanding of cat behavior. I went on to work in an animal shelter in Adoption Returns and Intakes... Hi! I'm Megan, a long-time cat lover. I have fostered hundreds of kittens, some from 2 days old.

But don't get me wrong, I also love my troubled and grumpy cats. I have worked with abused and TNR cats as well! I have a deep understanding of cat behavior. I went on to work in an animal shelter in Adoption Returns and Intakes. There I worked with adopters on ways to help their feline friends acclimate to their new home and when things didn't work out, took their cats in and found them the right fit. I also worked Offsite adoptions.

My breaks were often spent in the cat room with anyone who had come through my door to make sure they were getting the love they needed. I feel comfortable with giving pills and liquid meds as well. I'm also very clean when it comes to cat care so checking litter, bowls and their areas is a must for me.

I have 3 babies of my own. 17-year-old Mystic who is literally my best friend, Juno, an ex-mama cat, Astra and Moonie, my first ever foster fail. Thankfully I work in social media coordination and work from home with the girls and my fiance all day. We're all located in Germantown but also find ourselves in East Nashville a good bit. I hope to meet you and your feline friend!

We have four kitties and they are like our children. I can’t recommend Megan highly enough. You can tell she truly understands cats and how they need their daily routine. She also gets how stressful it is having to leave your cats and go out of town. She’s completely professional in every way—very punctual, attentive to details, and sensitive to their individual needs. Knowing her background and experience with cats and after talking with her, I feel very comfortable that should the need arise, she would be able to make excellent decisions in what’s best for my cats.

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Nashville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
