I recently moved twelve hours away from home to pursue my dream career with all four of my cats; LC, Ginger, Binx, and Eloise. Their age ranges from thirteen years to just 1 year old! Each of my cats have different temperaments, needs, and likes/dislikes. Binx in particular has had numerous health concerns/conditions since he was a kitten. Being on top of his care is my top priority that also transcends into my care for YOUR felines. I will always meet the needs of your cat(s) no matter the circumstance.

What sets me apart from other sitters? From 2023-2024 I worked as a front desk secretary at a veterinary clinic. That experience truly has grown my knowledge of cat care in all aspects. While I am no licensed veterinarian, I am trained to recognize early symptoms of forming health conditions and understand the process of basic treatment plans. I also was trained to recognize the names, purpose, and reason for usage of feline medications. Above all I am passionate about providing top-quality care for your pet(s)!
On top of my clinic experience, I have fostered an upwards of 20 kittens/cats back home. Many local strays would breed; I took in the abandoned kittens and bottle fed them until they were healthy, strong, and old enough to go to a good home! My pet sitting services also extends to other furry friends; I have over seven years worth of dog sitting experience and have even volunteered at an equine rescue! Not to mention I also grew up on a farm; we had cats, dogs, miniature horses, goats, rabbits, and chickens. I truly feel my purpose in life is to provide care for animals.
I’d be happy to just drop by or do extended visits with your cat(s). I am extremely comfortable with giving oral and topical medications, eye drops, etc. Dietary needs, litter, or other special instructions are not a problem for me. I will always provide you with an update photo and message during every visit for peace of mind!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love having those moments during cat sitting when a more quiet or anxious kitty finally warms up to you because I’ve gained their trust. No matter the age of your cat makes for a fun experience too! Have a kitten? I’ll be on the floor playing with them and their toys! Have a senior? No worries, they’ll take a nap while I read…we relax together!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I always like to set up an initial meeting face-to-face to greet you and your sweet cat(s)! This way, you can walk me through your specific instructions and establish a client-sitter relationship. I understand the feeling of letting a stranger into your home, I’d love to offer you some peace of mind! If this doesn’t work for you, instructions via Meowtel are TOTALLY fine!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I will always meet your cat(s) at their comfortability level! Cats are big receptors to demeanor and body language, so by entering and maintaining a calm, grounding presence, cats that are timid are more likely to warm up to you and trust you! I speak from experience, my cat Ginger is VERY anxious and shy; she’s scared of loud noises, big changes, and strangers. I keep a quiet apartment and living situation to meet her needs!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Nashville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!

She also assisted with additional things in the house (such as turning on heat during a few unexpectedly cold days) to make sure our fur baby stayed comfortable. Would definitely recommend her!

Sarah was very nice and did come care for my cat one day I reserved. I booked the reservation weeks in advance and Sarah messaged with very little notice that she would unable to fulfill the last day for the full time because of work and other bookings. I had very little notice and it was disappointing to have booked this so far in advance and learn there wasn’t adequate planning.
