What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I grew up with 3 cats and now have 2 of my own. I started cat sitting about 5 years ago. I’ve cared for hundreds of kitties. Some being rambunctious, some shy, and some that want to cuddle up on the couch. I’ve truly seen it all and can’t wait to meet you kitty! 🐈‍⬛

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy cat sitting because I have always had a profound connection with all animals and felines especially. Being able to provide the same level of comfort for animals while their families are away gives owners and pets peace of mind. I can’t think of a job that would make me more happier than being able to provide someone with that peace.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have one kitty of my own! Her name is Nova Jean, and she is the sassiest girl you’ll ever meet. We are one happy family! 😽

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I would recommend a meet and greet between me, you, and your kitty. This isn’t required, but if your kitty is on the shyer end of the spectrum, it certainly could help make them more comfortable. I’m always down to meet a new four legged friend!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Some cats are known to dart, some would never dare, and some will dart when you least expect it. I will always be cautious coming in and out of your home. I will always ensure that any windows, patios, catios, and doors are secure. I am also aware that small items such as trash or broken toys can be a hazard so I’m always on the lookout for that. In the case of an emergency I have means to transport your pet to the vet on file. I will protect your pet and care for them as they were my own.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I am available on holidays, even on short notice. Please do not be shy as my schedule is very flexible and I am always happy to help a furry friend!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I handle shy animals with patience and respect. I know that cats like to have their space and privacy. I have lots of patience and will take all the time we need to get to know your pet so they can be their happiest, most confident self in my care.

Needed a daily drop-in for my cat while I was on vacay and reached out to Gabby. She was punctual and attentive during the initial in-person visit, and she reported back each day as agreed upon with photos of my cat and accounts on food, water and box status. I was very happy with Gabby's help making sure my cat had everything she needed, and I will definitely have her top of list next time I need a sitter again.

Hired Gabrielle for our first time using Meowtel. Unfortunately when we ask friends or family to watch kitties something is always a mess about it. Gabrielle got back to me very quickly as I didn't know I should book in advance. She was able to schedule and came for a lovely meet and greet in advance. You can tell she loves kitties. She followed every instruction/request and sent great photo updates. Our 2 Bengal kitties warmed up to her very well. Highly recommend and will hire again in future!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
