I have a special affinity around cats though. All of my sitter habits are directly reflected with my cats. I enter homes slowly while looking down in order to make sure there are no escapees. I clean litter boxes daily, I ensure that food and water bowls are always clean and full. I take pictures and videos on every visit, and I even provide report cards!
Before my departure, I make sure that all kitties have had adequate playtime, cuddles, and time around a human while their parents are away! I can’t wait to meet your feline friends!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I met my cat Maki at my first cat sitting reservation. I was in charge of caring for two well-loved Siamese kitties, and their owner happened to be feeding a little pregnant stray in their backyard. It was the middle of July in Texas, so I determined that her kittens that were just borm deserved to be out of the blazing heat. After the reservation, I raised Maki and her kittens until her babies were adopted, and she went with me!

I have two spoiled kitties named Kairi and Maki. Kairi is a 2-year old calico who loves cuddles and playtime. Maki is my 4-year old tuxedo who has saved me from a lot of dark places in my life. She prefers to keep to herself, and chooses to be cuddly on her own accord.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! These days, I don’t spend too much time celebrating on holidays. I believe that any day can be used to celebrate, so I am incredibly flexible when it comes to holidays.

Samantha loves all animals, but cats are her specialty. She has had cats her whole life and currently has 2 cats of her own. She helped me with my own cat sitting business when she was a teenager and even rescued a mama cat and her kittens. The kittens found homes and she kept the mama cat. Sam is a good, loving, warm person who loves animals and will be a great pet sitter.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Austin cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
