What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

My favorite part of cat sitting is getting to know the cat(s). Each and every one has a unique personality and beautiful in their own way. I just love the privilege of getting to know them and becoming their friends.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I am a cat mom of two! Cat, is my senior princess, and she is a sassy and talkative lady. Although she now lives in Virginia, she will always be my baby. Catboy is a quiet boy, but he is the silliest of them all. He's smart and enjoys learning and doing his tricks-for-treats.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I understand that some cats do not like change or new people. I will be sure to enter their space quietly and respectfully. I'll spend some time just sitting on the floor, talking in a quiet voice, to show them that I am not a threat. If they come out from hiding, that's great! I'll offer a hand to sniff. If not, that's okay, too. I'll make sure they have everything they need, like food and water, and just let them be.

Jade is amazing! She did a really good job with my boys and even got to my place a little early every day as they are early risers. She played with them and I can tell my kitties really enjoyed her. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
