I would l... Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am a pet parent to 6 cats and 2 dogs. I love animals and enjoy getting to work with them. I have had a pet at all times since I was a child, and even raised farm animals with 4-H when younger. So, I have experience with multiple animals. In my adult years I have had cats and dogs, have fostered and saved a few kittens, and worked with the rescue a few times to help some cats in need.
I would love to help you with your cat(s) when you are out of town or unable to take care of their daily needs. From changing out cat litter, to feeding and watering, to giving some love and attention or playtime. Whatever is needed, I’m happy to help with.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 6 cats; my daughter named our first one Rainbow (a tortoise shell cat), so subsequently all of our other cats also have weather like names that go with their coloring. Their names are Rainbow, Stormy, Shadow, Rain, Sunny, and Sandy.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My cats favorite toys is a plastic spring (spiral) that when they play with it bounces. Other things they enjoy playing with that are not toys you buy, are my hair ties, they like grabbing them with their paws and seeing them move about when played with. They also love cardboard boxes and any kind of wrapping that comes with packages.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
If a cat is timid or anxious the best thing to do is be patient. Give the cat time and space to warm up to you and your presence. Be present, show that you are there and taking care of them, but do not force attention or love on them. Just sit with them, and what I have found is they will eventually come to you once they realize you are a safe person.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
