Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 3 cats currently. Bean, my soul cat, recently passed away from cancer in June 2025. He was a street cat my husband and I rescued in 2016. He was our baby and we miss him very much. Lucky is our fluffy and aloof middle child who's about 7 years old now. Tommy is our chatty cuddle bug who is about 5 years old. And Barbara, our newest family member, is our spunky goofy little kitten.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I would answer any questions they may have and be extra detailed in my updates so they know I'm paying attention. I'm a helicopter cat mom so I know how I would want to be updated about my babies and I would try to do the same for new cat parents.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I think giving them space to figure out who I am and what I'm doing in their house is the best way to keep them feeling safe. Cats are observant creatures and they prefer familiarity and routine, so a random person coming into their home would be stressful enough. I'm not going to force an anxious cat to come out of their favorite hiding spot just to hang out with me. I'll make sure they're safe wherever they are and then leave them be so they can get to know me in their own time.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
