Hello! I'm Calin, and I have absolutely adored cats for as long as I can remember! I have grown up around many cats throughout my life, and have had a wide variety. I currently have 2 cats, a big adorable black cat named Klaus and a rambunctious orange kitty named Billy.

I have done cat sitting in the past for various friends, and have always had a great time spending some time of my day with other cats. A cats personality really comes out when it's feeding time!

I have just graduated at Texas State University with a degree in Theatre. I love playwriting, directing and have been acting since I was 10.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for a few years for Meowtel, and cared for a variety of cats, shy, playful, cuddly, feisty, etc. I've also done work for a few family friends in the past.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Firstly making sure that if there is a key to the house it's either stored in a safe spot, or with me at all times during the sitting process. Secondly knowing what kind of cat(s) I'm caring for! As stated previously all cats require a different kind of care. I always let the cat open up to me, if they are super loving, then so am I! If they are prone to scratching and like to keep their distance, then I never try to push it.

Calin was on time, took great care of our cats/litter boxes, and even did a couple extras like water plants and bring in the mail. We got pictures from him of our one friendly/needy cat, and she was able to get some much needed attention from him while we were away. It was great to have someone reliable so we could vacation without worry!

Calin was great with our cat, pumpkin. Pumpkin is a bit of a scaredy cat, but Calin respected his boundaries and made sure he was well taken care of, fed, had a clean litter box and kept him comfortable regardless. This is a professional who can work with all types of cat personalities. We are very happy with the care Calin provided and would 100% recommend and come back. Thank you!!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Dallas cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
