What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

While I’m newer to professional cat sitting, I’m no stranger to feline antics! I’ve lived with cats my whole life and currently have my own. I’m great at picking up on different personalities and adapting to each cat’s unique rhythm — whether they’re playful pouncers or shy snugglers. I’ve also done house-sitting for friends, caring for dogs and even a rabbit, but cats are my true calling. I’m excited to bring my lifelong love for animals (especially the meowgical kind) into this new adventure, and I’d be honored to care for your precious kitty 😸

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

My advice? Find someone who truly understands cats — not just someone who loves them. Every kitty is different, so it’s important your sitter is tuned into routines, cat vibes and that they're respectful of your home and your cat’s space. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions! Communication is key. A good sitter will gladly answer your concerns, send updates, and make you feel confident while you’re away 😄

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

If anything, ensuring the safety of both your kitty and your home is my top priority. I'd take a calm, attentive approach when entering your space, always being mindful of open doors, windows, and anything that could pose a risk to curious paws. I'd also double-check that food, water, and litter are properly maintained and that your kitty is safe and accounted for before leaving each visit. I follow any instructions you leave carefully — whether it’s about feeding routines, medications, or security systems — and I’m happy to send photo updates so you know all is well. Your trust means everything to me, and I would treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I can be available depending on the holiday and how far the destination would be but I'm sure we could work something out if anything

What is your favorite cat toy?

I'd say the fishing pole type. I love to see the wiggly wiggles as well as the jumps and sheer focus they use to catch the object

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When it comes to timid or anxious cats, it's always best to have patience, gentleness, and respect for their space. I would let them come to me on their own terms — no pressure, no sudden moves. I understand that trust takes time, especially for shy kitties, so I keep things quiet, calm and relaxed as possible for them. If they prefer hiding, that’s totally okay too. I’ll still check on them from a respectful distance and make sure they’re eating, drinking, and comfortable as can be. My goal is always to help them feel safe, seen, and in control of their environment.
