Cat Sitting in Fort Worth, TX
As a career vet tech, I have experience giving all types of medication... Cats are literally my favorite people in the world! They can range from silly little guys to spicy seniors and I can’t pick a favorite. I have 9 sweet babies of my own, all adopted over my 22 years of experience as a licensed vet tech, and over that time I’ve learned how to bring out each cat’s personality and bond with them in a way that is comfortable for them. Medication and special treatments are not a problem for me, and I LOVE sending photos and spoiling the babies with treats, active playtime or brushing, snuggles, whichever they prefer. I love learning about kitties' favorite snuggle spots! My primary location is Fort Worth but I am willing to drive as far as Arlington and a few suburbs.
As a career vet tech, I have experience giving all types of medication. I'm more than happy to give insulin (or other prescribed injections), pills, ear and eye drops, ointments and creams, and if your kitty happens to get injured I can assess the situation and inform you of the best next steps to take. I know some kitties don't like getting their medication, but I have developed less-stressful techniques through my Fear Free and Cat Friendly Professional certifications. I've also learned to be very flexible but thorough with all my kitty babies because you know what they say - cats never read the textbook!
In my spare time, I enjoy painting and linocutting, letterboxing, journaling and making silly hats for my kitties. I am also a foster for neonatal kittens (bottle babies) so I have a library of kitten pictures. I am also a graduate student working toward becoming a Buddhist kyoshi, and enjoy contributing to Little Free Libraries and volunteering at Finn’s Place and virtually with Midwest Buddhist Temple in Chicago, where I used to live.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been Catsitting since I was in technician school, with my first kitty client being a 21 year old Manx girlie who needed special care.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Sending silly pictures and bonding with the kitties so they look forward to my visits, especially the shy ones who need some extra love.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
We have quite a pack of kitties almost all named after food! In order of age: Lemondrop, Tater Tot, Noodle Lou, Cheesedoodle, Brisket, Corporal Chub, Crispie, our newest special needs boy Servo, and Bobby WaffleCone. We also have a rotating cast of foster kittens! Ask me who I have now!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I rarely go out of town and I understand how stressful it can be to leave your kitties but wanting to see your family, so I make myself available as much as I can.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let them steer the interaction, from the meet and greet to the visits. I talk to them and offer treats and company but if they show stress or fear I let them approach me at their own pace. It’s so rewarding for a shy kitty who has been hiding for days to approach you for the first time and slowly bond with you until they’re meeting you at the door and chirping!

I was very anxious about going away for over two weeks and finding someone to watch our two kitties. We have one very very shy cat who is scared of her own shadow! Nat was absolutely amazing with both of them and after a couple days gained the trust of BOTH! She had both girls out waiting for her to arrive and chirping in happiness!!! Nat was also great about daily pics and updates which put my mind at ease. We came home to two extremely calm and happy kitties. Nat was amazing, and really gave me peace of mind. Nat would send pictures all the time and was very knowledgeable in how to give the medications for my babies. I have a baby with asthma and anxiety and has to get medicine twice a day and Nat had no problem with my scared anxious girl! I will 100% be using Nat again. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Fort Worth cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
