I’ve had a cat or more for most of my life. Right now, I don... I go by the moniker Peace & Love, and that’s what I offer to cats in my care. Peace in that I’m not coming into their space, I’ll wait for them to join mine; Love is what they get if/when they decide they want it in addition to providing for their needs.
I’ve had a cat or more for most of my life. Right now, I don't have my own cats, and I very much miss having cats in my life, which is why I'm excited about Meowtel. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help others and myself. Win-wins are the best, aren’t they?

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I've done cat/house/pet sitting for friends since I was a kid. It never occurred to me that I would get the opportunity to do it for other people until I heard about Meowtel.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I think reluctant cats are my favorite. What I generally do is just meditate for a while when it's just me and the cat. Giving them time and freedom to decide if they want anything to do with me. (Most do, and if not, that's okay, too)
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Arrive early, so the cat parent can introduce me to the cat(s), most people have a list of expectations, schedule, etc. I go over the list with them and make sure I understand everything. Once the parent leaves, I'll just sit somewhere and meditate for a bit, give the cat(s) time to get used to me at their own pace. Then I'll hang out, read, work on projects, sometimes with a cat blanket (lots of cats like sitting on me especially, dunno why) Clean litter on schedule obviously, but also clean everything up right before the parents arrive so the place is better when I leave than I found it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
