My name is Cherri and I’m a cat mom to two adorable (and crazy) orange kitties, Thumb and Pinky. I have been a huge animal lover my entire life, but cats are what truly make my world go round.
I have experience with cats of all breeds and purrsonalities, as I volunteer regularly at the Cozy Cat Catfe in Arlington! Your cat’s safety and comfortability are my priority, so familiarizing myself with your kitty’s routines and preferences is important. Trust with the owner is just as important, so communication and updates are key during my visits. Owners can expect several cute photos of their fur baby during visits as well!
I recognize the trust it takes to have another individual handle your pet, and I don't take that lightly. When your cats are with me, you will be assured that they will feel loved and cared for as if they were my own. I would love the opportunity to meet new kitties while helping out other pet parents!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Besides caring for my own cats, I’ve been cat sitting for about 5 years. I’m also a volunteer at a cat cafe (the Cozy Catfe), so have experience with kitties of all breeds and purrsonalities! Getting to know so many cats is a huge privilege and my favorite thing is getting to know each cat's unique quirks.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 2 lovely orange cats named Thumb and Pinky. Pinky is 5 and Thumb is 7! They are my pride and joy!
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy is the cat dancer (from Amazon). A staple in my household! It's unique because I believe that cats see the toy as mimicking the behavior of a fly, which all kitties I've played with have gone crazy for. Another bonus is that it doesn’t get stuck under the couch like some other toys can.

Cherri is quite possibly the BEST CAT SITTER out there- and I mean anywhere out there!!! Cherri has a sincere, knowledgeable and thorough approach. She sets our cats up with daily enrichment and tons of play time. Provides my cat with his medication and updates us with the cutest cat pictures we have ever seen- her photography is so good I’d honestly hire her for cat photography alone! Most importantly our cats love her. There is absolutely no one else I would want carrying for our cats- we always feel so fortunate knowing our furless babies are in her care.

Cherri is truly our kitty cats best friend- they absolutely love her!!! Cherri is so gentle with our boy who needed a little extra assistance with his meds and so playful with our silly girl who loves playing with her toys! Cherri is exceptional and trustworthy and I would highly recommend her!

Oh Cherri is the VERY best! She is so sweet and playful with our little babies, she really truly loves cats and is very responsible and punctual. Our kitty cats love her and it’s always a huge comfort and peace of mind when shes taking care of our babies! Also extra fun note- she’s a fantastic kitty cat photographer- I love that she send us THE BEST pictures while we’re out.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

During the weekdays, I work full time 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. On weekends, I have open availability. For times that don't fit in, I am happy to coordinate and remain flexible with owners if needed!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Grapevine cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
