Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I don’t have any cats now but I’ve had several cats in the past. One was Glyrendre and another was Bast. Glyrendre was a large silver tabby long haired cat. He was very affectionate and loved playing. Bast was a short haired domestic cat that must have been part Siamese because she had Siamese markings. She was tiny and always looked like a kitten. I also had a very sweet cat I named Pinky. He had long hair and had red point Siamese markings.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always make sure that when I come in the door I don’t let any pets out. Then I make sure the door is locked while I’m there and that I lock up when I leave and I would never bring anyone with me without the owner’s permission.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am available during most holidays with the possible exception of Christmas.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

For a cat that is timid or anxious I would give them their space and let them approach me and then offer cat treats until they decide that I’m safe. Then I would play with them with a cat toy or a laser pen.

Tammera took to Marzipan so well! And for being a brand new cat sitter, Tammera jumped right in, sending me updates and pics every time she visited, even giving Marzipan extra pets and treats. And when having difficulty accessing my apartment due to the concierge being away from the desk, she took everything in stride, and was very patient and tenacious to get everything worked out so Marzipan would be taken care of. Thank you, Tammera!

Tammera took amazing care of my cats for two weeks while I was away. She sent regular updates and photos, which really put me at ease. My cats were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I got back. Everything was clean and in order. I highly recommend her and will definitely book again!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
