What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I am a disabled veteran who loves to spend her time caring for animals with cats being my favorite. I have years of cat sitting experience as when my fellow servicemembers deploy I am the go to person to look over their animals while they are away.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The companionship, their playfulness, I love the sounds of a cats purr. Cats are picky and can take some time to warm up to strangers which is understandable. I have no issues with getting cats to love me.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
Most cat lovers understand that cats personalities wildly vary. Some cats are more sociable than others. My favorite cat sitting experience was from a socialable cat that would look forward to my arrival.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I currently don’t have any kitties of my own at this moment. Cat sitting is what I do to fulfill my joy of caring for cats while also volunteering at local animal shelters.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Learn all rules and regulations to care for your cat properly. Visit your home and cat so that cat has some sort of familiarity with me- cat sitter.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
To ensure the safety and security of your home and pet I abide by all rules and regulations set out by the homeowner. Follow specific feeding instructions, number of hours spent with companion etc.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am available during the holidays. Please reach out for booking during holidays, last minute emergencies, and short to long term trips.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I handle cats that are timid or anxious with patience and space. I make sure not to force my presence onto the cat. I provide a warm comfortable space for the cat to approach me.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
