I've held a lifelong passion for cats, having seldom spent time in my life without owning at least one, and I've been actively involved in cat and kitten fostering for 4 years. I have volunteered and fostered for organizations such as Austin Pets Alive!, PAWS, and San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter, and I founded a 501(c)(3) home-based neonatal rescue for Hays County.
I have 5 wonderful rescue cats of my own, along with a few fosters that started off as bottle babies. One of my long-stay fosters has cerebellar hypoplasia, which makes him unsteady on his feet, but he is a happy and loving little guy! One of my own boys has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and receives a pill every night, and another receives daily nose drops for his allergies. Your furry babies will be in attentive, gentle hands... I have hand-raised orphaned kittens, which involves bottle and/or syringe feeding as frequently as every 2 hours, and provided care and medical transport to nursing mother cats and their kittens. I can also administer medication orally, topically or injected; I have cared for cats and kittens requiring a great deal of medical care and tenderly nursed them back to health.
I have a calm and patient demeanor when working with animals, and I can ensure your kitties are treated with kindness and understanding. Cats are especially prone to being nervous around new people, so this is something I can work with. If you have friendly kitties, they will receive lots of petting, attention, and play; shy ones will be handled carefully, and with all the space they need. Every cat has a personality as unique as their DNA, and I always look forward to meeting new ones.
Generally, my preferred availability is between 10am and 9pm for drop-in visits.
COVID Protocol - I am fully vaccinated and can accommodate any preferences for your safety and comfort, such as: wearing a mask, sanitizing surfaces after use, social distancing, etc. We can discuss your needs at the time of booking.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I always make sure to be on the same page with clients when it comes to home accessibility, any security systems, and how to retrieve/return the physical key (if necessary). The door is always locked behind me once I've entered the home, and I do not answer the door unless it is someone the client has informed me ahead of time. When leaving the home, I do a brief head count and make sure all doors are locked with a test to make sure they are properly locked, including doors locked with a code system. I also make sure to arm any security systems if necessary. As it is against TOS to allow cats outdoors, I don't go outside during visits unless for practical reasons such as taking out trash or watering plants, and I do so with strict attention paid to make sure there are no escape artists!
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am generally available during all major holidays and breaks. Because of the higher demand during the holiday season, it is best practice to book reservations at least a couple weeks out to allow for time to hold meet and greets in addition to the actual booking availability.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
For cats that are hiding or otherwise display signs of nervousness such as hunching up, ears back or wide eyes, I will approach as low as I can to the floor with my hand held out. I also make sure to give them some "slow blinks" if we make eye contact, as a focused stare can make them feel more nervous. If they return the blink, that is a sign they are getting comfortable lowering their guard! I also pay special attention to how they react to my hand, and if they display any warning signs I give them space. Treats are also a great way to create a positive association, either by gently nudging some dry treats their way or holding out an open Churu. (Churu and other squeeze treats have been GREAT for winning over shy cats!) Ultimately I always make sure to respect a cat's boundaries.

This was my first time booking Alexander and I couldn't be happier with her performance. My cat has a mild form of GI Disease and thus has a complex diet needing various additions to his food. Alexander was extremely thorough and attentive, used pill-masking paste, and always made sure Floyd ate all of his food. A few occasions when Floyd had an accident outside of the box Alexander reached out and asked what could be done to clean it up. I would not hesitate to hire her again (and definitely will)!

Alexander was wonderful taking care of my cats for an extended period! one of them can be very spicy and defensive but even she warmed up to Alexander by the end. both cats were both very jumpy after a severe storm that hit right after I left but despite that I felt confident thanks to Alexander’s care and updates that they were doing well.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Kyle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

It was easy to set up the reservation with Alex. She was quick to respond and came to a "meet and greet" to get to know our cat, Olive. She sent photos and messages every day to keep us updated. She fed, watered, cuddled with and played with our cat. I like that she has many cats of her own so she knows to let the cats get comfortable with her. My cat loved her. I could tell by the cute photos. It was a relief to know our cat was being checked on daily, as I was worried about being gone for a week. I cannot recommend Alexander enough! They took phenomenal care of our two beloved cats, Hilton and Paris, while we were away. From the very start, they were professional, warm, and clearly a true animal lover. They didn’t just feed and clean up after the cats — they spent quality time with them, sent us daily updates (complete with adorable photos), and made sure both Hilton and Paris were happy, healthy, and loved. Hilton can be a bit shy, and Paris is definitely the diva of the household, but our sitter managed to win them both over — no small feat! When we came home, the cats were relaxed and content, and our home was spotless. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such capable and caring hands.
