I recently lost my own Siamese/Calico after 10 wonderful years together. She had chronic kidney disease, so I'm used to being very attentive to a cat's routine, behavior, and comfort. She was energetic, talkative, and extremely cuddly, which means I'm well trained in playtime, enrichment, and long cat conversations... Hi! I'm a lifelong cat lover and very comfortable around all kinds of feline personalities, from chatty attention seekers to shy observers who prefer their space.

Every cat is different and I try to meet them where they are. If your cat needs extra company, playtime, and stimulation while you are away, I'm happy to stay a bit longer so they do not feel lonely. If they are more independent and just need a calm, reliable visit for feeding, litter care, and a quick check-in, I can do that too.
I am patient, observant, and genuinely enjoy spending time with cats. I will treat your cat like my own and send updates so you know they are safe, happy, and well cared for.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most is getting to know each cat's unique personality. Some cats want playtime and attention, while other prefer quiet company or someone who respects their space. After spending 10 years with my own kitty, I really appreciate how expressive and individual cats can be and I enjoy making sure they feeling comfortable and cared for while their humans are away.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to start by learning about the cat's routine, personality, and preferences so I can keep things as consistent as possible while their human is away. During visits I handle feeding, water, little, and spend time with the cat based on what they enjoy, whether that is playtime or quiet company. I also send updates so cat parents know their cat is safe and well.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I approach timid or anxious cats with patience and respect for their boundaries. I never force interaction and instead let the cat warm up at their own pace. I might sit quietly, speak softly, or play gently so they can observe me first. Over time, many shy cats become curious and comfortable once they realize they are in control of the interaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
