my name is Dani. I have loved animals since I was a kid and grew up around cats. I currently have 3 fur babies. I have been volunteering at the humane society since August of 2024 and it is extremely rewarding to be able to be around the cats and help socialize with them and watch them find homes. As for my pet sitting visits I like to meet the cat(s) and owners and ask questions about the routines they have. I try to stay a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour each visit and socialize/play with the cats, will also send photos to let the owners know their pets are doing well. I will also get any mail or water plants if necessary. I completely understand how nerve wracking it is to leave your fur babies at home and I hope that I deliver in good care. I like to treat them as if they are my own fur babies. I will do my best to make sure the cats are happy and comfortable while the owners are away.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most is meeting all the different cats and seeing the different personalities, it brings me joy being around animals. I love how each cat has their own quirks and seeing them come out of their shells.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to meet the parent beforehand to make sure we are all on the same page and asking any questions as well as meeting the cats too.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I am someone who is very thorough when it comes to safety and security, before leaving I double check the cats are good and triple check that the doors are locked!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I normally am available during the holidays in the mornings and nights, I understand how busy it can get.

This time my cat had a new challenge of taking a medication, and Dani went above and beyond and tried multiple methods to ensure she would take it. She always provides updates and makes me feel very confident that my cats are well cared for when I am away!

Dani was excellent! I am typically very nervous when I leave my cats but I was very confident that they were safe and well cared for. She was very conscious of my cat who is not comfortable with strangers, respected her boundaries, and seemed to gain more of her trust by the end of the week. She is kind and responsible and I would definitely have her look after my cats again!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Antonio cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Dani is a wonderful cat sitter. Our cats feel safe and comfortable around her and regularly engage with her when she's here. She is very intuitive with them, will notice if they display any behavior changes, and will notify you as a precaution. She is very respectful of our home and does a great job of cleaning up any cat messes and their boxes. We have never had a worry when Dani was caring for our cats, and use her services regularly without hesitation.
