I am a hairstylist in San Antonio looking for more ways to be involved in my community. I am a major cat person (I have 7 fur babies!) and have tons of experience with fostering cats/ kittens, rescue work, medication, bottle feeding, etc. Cats have always held a special place in my heart and I know how hard it can be to leave for an extended period of time. That being said, I wanted to offer my services to pet parents who need a reliable pet sitter who will have their babies best interest at heart ! 🐾🐾

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 7 babies named Tobi, boots, cassian, Azriel, Feyra, Cassian, and shorty ! They are all rescues from the neighborhood and nearing area that I live in. Cassian and Feyra were my bottle feeder babies that I’ve had since 2 weeks old.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Meet with the sitter first and be very detailed in the care you expect to receive! I personally have made a print out sheet to give to pet sitters for my babies to make sure everything that I do when I’m home is relayed to those who are caring for my cats.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I work really well with all types of cats and to this day have not met one that doesn’t get alone with me. If they’re anxious, there’s a reason. It’s my responsibility to find what is making them anxious and what makes it worse/ better for them. Things like getting them to learn your scent and sitting with them are important. Being calm, cautious, and intentional with your own behavior will help ease any cat. Once they know you are kind and safe, they always feel better !

Kaytlyn is the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to cat care. She is always extremely thorough, thoughtful, respectful, and efficient. She is always my go to cat sitter and I am never worried about my babies getting the care they need. When I am out of town I am completely able to enjoy my trip without a concern in my mind. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Antonio cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
