Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I currently have 6 cats: Misaki, Momo, Mina, Mr Moo, Mango, and Molly. They’re all so different and loving in their own way. My favorite thing is to watch them play together, or find them in a cuddle pile on one of my beds after a long day.

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toy has got to be the plastic springs. My Mitzi(Bitzi) loved to spend all day playing with them. I’d hear her meow and chirp all afternoon right up until she lost it under the couch. I still move furniture and find them! Maybe she’s thinking of me?

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Misaki came to me with a lot of anxiety and over the years she has bloomed into cuddliest little lady ever. It takes a lot of trust building and reading their body language. I start by holding out my hand for a sniff. For 4 out of 5 of cats, this is all it takes. But if the vibes are off then I’ll give them their space, see if they’d like a treat, or just give them time. Patience is key.

Our cats, Axel & Ivy, loved Cat! She was awesome with updates and tons of super cute pictures. We were gone for almost two weeks and the litter box was pristine. It was our first time using this service and now Cat is someone we hope to use every time we go on vacation!

Cat was awesome. This is the first time I have ever left my fur baby for more than a few hours. She is a very shy, easily frightened young cat. I needed to leave for a week to travel and I was anxious, as well as the cat. Cat was very reassuring and met with me prior to the travel dates to review everything. I felt calm and comfortable leaving her in Cat’s care. Cat took care of everything and handled everything like a pro. When I returned home, everything was neat and clean, even the cat bowls were washed and no litter on the mat. She respected my home and the cat, which was well appreciated. She also sent pictures everyday and is very reliable. It was nice to come home to a well cared for cat. I will certainly use her care giving anytime I need to leave my fur baby for anything. I am so blessed to have chosen Cat to take care of my fur baby.

Cat loves cats, plain and simple. She could spend hours playing with wand toys and catnip with a kitty. I dont think she's met a cat that has never warmed up to her before. I often joke with her that she is a cat whisperer. She took good care of my cat Mamas and cuddled her all night when I was away. There is no one else I'd trust to take care of my babies.

When I had to leave town for 5 days, there was no question about who I wanted to watch him— Cat was my first pick. A lifelong cat owner herself, I already felt comfortable knowing that she knew how to give him his medicine and what signs of distress would look like. She sent photos of him snuggling her, and of them playing with toys. When we first spoke on the phone, she was so friendly and seemed like the genuinely cared about my cat. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
