I... I’ve loved cats ever since I was a little kid. I recently just got a cat from the shelter, he’s a Siamese cat and his names Loki! I’ve been catsitting in this app for a little over 2 years now, and I love it so much. All of the cats that I’ve met have been absolute darlings to visit.
I’ve worked with cats that have needed eye drops, special food, and were very old. I love each cat the same and my main goal is to make sure your cat has all their needs met and are as comfortable as possible while they’re by themselves. Thank you for considering me to watch your kitties!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been on Meowtel for over 2 years at this point, and have had over 35 bookings and multiple repeat clients. Before I got on this app I used to watch my friends cats all the time when she would go out of town. I also used to watch my aunts cats a couple of years ago! I just recently got a cat of my own and I’ve had him for a little over 2 weeks now.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love spending time with each and every cat and see all their different personalities come out! Cats are always so goofy!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I always give them space and never approach them first. If they want to come up to me and introduce themselves, that’s great! But I would never want to make your cat feel unsafe or uncomfortable!

Kristyn is amazing! My kitty literally misses her (in a great way)! He was SO stoked when she came back with the house key today. They have such an adorable connection. I love it! I was worried to leave him alone for my trip. So very worried (he is my therapy animal, and I am pretty much, kinda lost without him). I have never left him alone before this. But Kristyn set my worries at ease before I even gave her the keys. She is so sincere and caring. I swear, she speaks cat language. :) Her updates were prompt and thorough and I shared them with all my other vacation peeps (and they also loved them)! Kristyn has more fans than she knows! My kitty was happy to see me come home. And was SUPER confident and well adjusted. Zero stress for him. And I was so happy to see this! He did keep an eye on the door for a day or two, just in case his new BFF was coming by again. :) I am recommending meowtel to all my kitty parent friends because of her. Thank you Kristyn!!! Kristyn took care of our two kitties while we were away for over a week and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing that she was going to be checking on them every day. She did all the regular things (feeding them dinner, scooping the litter, refilling water), and she also gave our cats some much needed playtime, took wonderful photos for us each visit, and even took out the trash so we wouldn't have to worry about it when we got home! We are very happy with Kristyn's cat-sitting services 😸

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

American Fork cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
