I’m especially good with shy or anxious cats who need extra time to warm up. I never rush a visit—I let your cat set the pace, whether that ... I’ve owned a cat in the past and that experience taught me a lot about feline behavior, routines, and what makes cats feel safe and comfortable. I understand that every cat has its own personality, and I bring patience and attentiveness to every visit.
I’m especially good with shy or anxious cats who need extra time to warm up. I never rush a visit—I let your cat set the pace, whether that means quiet cuddle time, a feather wand session, or simply sitting nearby until they’re ready to approach me.
Clear communication is a big priority for me. You can expect timely updates with photos during every visit, so you always know your cat is happy, fed, and well cared for. I treat every cat with the same care and attention I’d want for my own, and I’d be honored to look after yours.

I used to have a sweet cat named Nini! She was incredibly cute and had so much personality. Spending years with her taught me a lot about feline behavior—how cats communicate, what makes them feel safe, and how to read their moods. That experience is part of why I’m so passionate about caring for other people’s cats now.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Look for someone who’s genuinely patient and willing to go at your cat’s pace, especially if your cat is shy or takes time to warm up to new people. I’d also suggest asking how the sitter communicates during visits—regular updates and photos can give you real peace of mind while you’re away. And don’t be afraid to ask questions upfront about their experience and approach; a good sitter will be happy to walk you through it.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Before the first visit, I like to learn as much as I can about the cat—their routine, favorite hiding spots, feeding schedule, and any quirks or sensitivities. I always ask plenty of questions so nothing feels left to guesswork. During visits, I send timely updates with photos so you know exactly how things are going. My goal is always to make both you and your cat feel completely comfortable and cared for.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
