What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I cared for my first cat when I was 8 & I’ve had four amazing furry companions since then. Through the years I’ve been lucky to help friends when they’re away and I’ve now been cat-sitting on Meowtel for almost a year!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting new furry friends. It warms my heart to care for them while owners are away! Some just want to play, others want to cuddle, some just hide at first- and that’s okay! Every cat has a unique beat to their own drum. It brings me comfort to bring others comfort. It’s in my nature to speak cat 😹
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I have loved being in the energy of cats no matter what. Either way, it’s always a good day hanging out with cats. Whenever I get to see cats I’ve previously taken care of, it is so sweet seeing them remember me and creating our own friendship.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, currently I have a Ragdoll spicy fluff queen. Her previous owners were unable to take on a kitten and I believe our paths crossed for a reason. Her name is Dotty. Dot. I love her so much.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I know it’s a little scary inviting someone you don’t know into your home, but I am happy to meet-and-greet beforehand and will be available to put any qualms at ease.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I like to talk with you beforehand and get a well-rounded understanding of how you care for your kitties and home. I personally would never want to worry while I’m away, so I can understand putting myself in your shoes… I just want everyone to feel safe and worry-free. I make sure to follow instructions and keep your space clean and locked!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Cats are so individually unique, it’s okay if they are timid at first and anxious… I allow them to come to me. They can get used to my scent and understand I’m just there to feed them, clean their space, and give them attention while their family is away.

Camille did a great job keeping me updated with texts and pictures in the week I was away from my cats. When I arrived home, the litter box was clean and cats were happy and content. I don't travel very often, but would request Camille again if I do.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Ogden cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $21.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Camille is a devoted cat lover. She’s cared for cats with a wide range of personalities and needs, including more challenging ones, and she doesn’t give up on them. Her cat Gracie lived nearly 20 years, which is a true testament to the patience, love and attentive care Camille provides. Any cat would be lucky to have her looking after them.

Last year I unexpectedly lost a family member and had to leave town immediately. My cat was out of the house and I didn't have time to wait for her to get back before my flight. Camille responded to my text immediately and told me not to worry. She came and waited by my front porch until she wandered home and continued to tend her and administer meds over a two week period. I don't know what I would have done without her during that time.
