What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I just love being around cats of all kinds, but what I love most is the sense of reassurance I can offer pet owners. When I’m away from home, it’s so comforting to know my little cuties are being cared for by someone who understands how precious they are to me.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I often cat sit for a woman in my building who has a hairless cat. I love dressing her in little sweaters to keep her warm and holding her like a little baby because she just loves snuggles.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My cats are Hermione (16), Freddie Mercury (8), and Mortimer Brewster (6). The two oldest are my tortie girls and Mortimer is my little ginger boy.

was punctual and followed directions for our cats. though -with probable best intentions- didn't lock a lock we asked and locked another,which caused us to call a $275 late nite locksmith. while mistakes can happen, we won't be using this sitter again as we haven't had an issue like this with others.

Elise was friendly and responsive. However we paid for four 45 minute visits and only ONCE did she stay that long...and one visit was so late that we are sure she did not water some outside plants that needed attention. We also found a nearly empty water bowl in Lulus area. Although Lulu was safe and the care was adequate we were disappointed and will not use her services again.

Elise did a nice job looking after my two cats! She gave wet food, cleaned the litter area, and administered an injected medication to my cat. Her communication could have been improved. She forgot to send confirmation that she went by the house on the first day and seemed delayed in responses sometimes. This did not impact the care and I think she did a great job watching out for my cats.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
