I’ve had many cats in my life but I don’t currently. I miss the opportunities to care for and spend quality time with one of my own right now, and I’d like to put that time and energy toward making cats whose families are away feel cared for and extra loved until their families return. I’m especially good with shy cats who just need a little extra time and patience, but if yours is a cuddle bug who just needs a lap and an invitation, I’ll bring a good book and give them all the time they need.

Every pet feels most comfortable with their own routine with you, and a departure from that can be challenging for them, but I’ll do my best to help your cats feel as at peace as possible. Thanks for the chance to love on them until you return!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve sat for many pets since I was a teenager (now in my 50s), usually for family friends, but I’d welcome the opportunity to expand that circle.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My most recent sitting experience was with a particularly shy kitty, and I was so pleased to have made a friend by the end of our time together.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Not currently. I lost my sweet Rosie in August of 2025, and the time just isn’t right to have another one right now.

Laura was wonderful!! My two cats loved her immediately which is unusual for them, especially Phoebe the female. She sent several pictures each day she visited which was so great to see my babies happy. Stache even sitting on Laura’s lap!! I highly recommend Laura and will ask for her every time I need a sitter. She’s perfect!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
