I promise to meet your cat where they are at, and provide the best care and attention depending on their own unique needs... Hello all! My name is Rose, and I live and breathe all things cat! Growing up on a farm introduced me to barn cats early, and while I believe every cat deserves a warm home, meeting finicky felines where they were at set the stage for me to accept every kind of affection(or lack of it!)in my own interactions with cats.
I enjoy meeting all kinds of cats, whether they are outgoing or more introverted. In fact, I have fostered many semi feral kittens in my years of volunteering with local organizations. I promise to meet your cat where they are at, and provide the best care and attention depending on their own unique needs. My hope is that while you are away enjoying your vacation, you can rest assured that your cats' routine is changing as little as possible.
I have spent the past few years of my professional life in veterinary medicine, and am comfortable giving medications as prescribed by your vet, including things like subcutaneous injections and fluids. My own cats require nightly medication, and I have experience with long term care of aging felines.
I am also happy to provide photos for every visit, so you can stay up to date on everything your pets are doing while you are away.
I have two cats of my own, and live with family(and their cats!) So I am lucky enough to spend time with five cats on the daily.
I would love to schedule a meet and greet to go over your routines, needs and preferences, and become more familiar to your pets. I will take notes in addition to any written instructions you provide, to make sure we are all on the same page and your pets get the care they deserve!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have cat sat for my work colleagues before, including cats needing medications and other specialized care. I've watched family members' animals as well throughout my teen years until now.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting cats! I truly enjoy every time I get to see and hopefully interact with new feline friends. I also enjoy knowing that I can make someone's time away a much less stressful experience, since I know when I'm out of town my cats' wellbeing is always on my mind.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats personally, though I live with five total. My boys are both 10 years old; my baby boy Tortellini was a foster fail when I fostered his litter, and he is a handsome and chatty black medium hair. My other boy, Spoka, I adopted during college as a companion for Torts while I was away in class. He is a sweet and very odd tabby and white long hair. My family also has our older lady Josephina, an orange tabby, and the younger girls Adelaide(a snowshoe) and Squeak(a sleek black shorthair)
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
As the owner of two attempted door dashers myself, I am very vigilant about entering and exiting the home I'm sitting at, ensuring that the cats remain safely inside. I am careful with my steps and make sure to lay eyes on each cat every visit to ensure they are healthy and comfortable(as much as they can be with a stranger in the house!)

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
