This was our first time using Julie to watch our boys, and we are so happy we found her! From the moment we met her at the meet-and-greet, I could tell she was going to take amazing care of our cats. I immediately felt at ease about leaving town for a week. Julie stuck to our schedule, followed every instruction perfectly, and sent the cutest photo updates each visit. She always checked in so we knew how things were going at home. One of our cats has allergies, and Julie noticed a flare-up right away, she handled his medication and kept us informed the whole time. As a former vet tech and fellow cat mom, she gave us total peace of mind. We’re new to the area, and Julie even shared helpful recommendations for local vet care. We truly feel lucky to have found her and will absolutely be booking with her again!

Our usual cat sitter was unavailable during the dates we needed, so was in a bit of a bind to find someone. I stumbled upon Meowtel after some online searches and was a bit apprehensive because previously we've always used close friend referrals to watch our two cats, Brio and Stormy. This would be the first time they'd be fully "home alone" for more than a few days since before Covid lock-downs. I read through several possible cat-sitters on Meowtel, and Julie had, by far, the most reviews and the highest ratings from the ones I was looking through. She was also able to do 2x per day visits, one morning and evening, which was not possible with another cat sitter we were considering. Super happy with choosing Julie, and could not be happier with the results. Came home after one week to very happy kitties and they did not seem at all traumatized by us being gone, compared to previous returns in the past (before Covid). Julie arranged a pre-meet to meet Brio and Stormy and pick up the house key. The cats immediately took to her calm and friendly personality. Typically shy Stormy was asking for pets and Brio was circling her like a little shark. I left detailed instructions, which were followed amazingly well. We had unexpected high temperatures for a few days and Julie helped keep the house cool by managing the windows and blinds and the fans. She also suggested a food puzzle, so I picked one up before we left and the cats were in heaven. She filled it up at each visit and Brio and Stormy were kept busy for a bit of time trying to find all the treats. Julie sent a variety of fun pictures of Brio and Stormy during each visit, and I could tell they were having a blast and well cared for. Julie definitely focuses on fun, activity and attention when she visits, which is exactly what Brio and Stormy needed. Julie also took care of both litter boxes and the occasional cat puke. Julie is very much a professional cat sitter and asked about medications, interesting/unusual behaviors and asked that the cat carriers be in a known location for her visits. It gave us a lot of peace of mind to know that she was prepared for a "worse case" scenario should it arise. The biggest evidence of a job well done was how Brio and Stormy acted when we returned from our trip. We could clearly see that they were not stressed or anxious at all, which was not the case on previous extended returns. Julie managed to keep a healthy routine for them, with enough attention and focus on movement and fun that the Brio and Stormy adjusted wonderfully. We will definitely use Julie again for any future cat sitting needs and highly recommend her for your cat(s) as well.

This is maybe the third time Julie has come and looked after our cats for us. She's such a cat whisperer! One of our cats is normally super shy but runs out to see Julie! Julie is also super helpful if some little chores need to be done like garbage bins being brought in. I really can't say enough positive things about Julie. I'm so thankful she does cat sitting. when our first sitter cancelled on us 1 wk before trip, Meowtel recommended Julie. From the first text I knew I could trust her. at the meet and greet she showed on time and made notes on feeing instructions, litterbox and water. Julie specifically asked about toys for play time! Julie was super caring to our cat Maxwell! She did daily visits, sending photos of each visit and managed the terrible snow/ice up our hill to ensure Maxwell was taken care of. She went above and beyond and brought up the garbage and kept the place completely in order. And above all, she was completely flexible to ensure to come back one extra day when my son's flight got bumped a day.
