I WILL:

- Spend quality time interacting with your kitties, as much as they are responsive to.
- Feed them breakfast and dinner, top up their water, and scoop the litter box daily.
- Bring in mail & packages if needed.
- Clean up hairballs and other pet messes.

After finishing my PhD in psychology in 2015, I started my own website & business. Now, I have a flexible schedule writing articles on psychology topics and doing deep listening sessions with clients. Spending time with your pet is a genuinely joyful way to break up my day.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I most enjoy learning about each cat's unique personality and discovering how to have a positive relationship, regardless of their temperment. I've found that my calm, accepting style results in cats feeling comfortable around me quickly and easily. Even if lap-sitting and petting is not a cat's prefered way of interacting, we easily fall into a mutually-respectful, satisfying dynamic.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
We took care of our own cat, Squeakers, for her 17 years. During this time, we had a cat sitting circle with friends where we sat for their cats and they sat for ours. Since her passing in 2023, we’ve been increasingly doing more cat sitting. This way, we can get our kitty fix while also providing a reliable presence for cats while their family is away.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Choosing the right live-in sitter for our pets and plants is often a deeply personal decision. And we want to get it right! That’s why I never accept a booking without first getting to know you and making sure that I can meet all of your requirements. I genuinely want the sit to be an excellent fit so that you feel calm, comfortable, and able to enjoy your time away from home. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
