I live at Bristol Southport Apartments on the south end of Lake Washington, so I’m happy to sit for clients at Bristol Southport and the nearby surrounding neighborhood.
I’ve been at Bristol Southport for 9 years, moving from downtown Bellevue where I owned a boutique dog walking and cat sitting business for 5 years. I have a very flexible schedule so I’m available for weekday visits, weekends, and extended holiday weekends too!
I’ve lived with and taken care of cats and dogs since I was a child and helped take care of my family's and friends’ cats over many years. I’d love to have the opportunity to care for your precious cats anytime you need a helping hand. I’ll take wonderful care of your babies and will keep in touch with you during your absence, sending you daily text messages and special photos.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The most enjoyable aspect of cat sitting is the way each cat has such a unique personality. So much fun getting to know each one and realizing on a repeat visit that my cat remembers me!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
On a meet/greet, I’m punctual and make an effort to present myself professionally and with confidence. I love caring for cats, I know how to respect someone’s home, and I want my clients to inherently know this on my visit!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, we’re not doing anytraveling for a while so I do love my cat care during that time! Makes the holidays even better!
What is your favorite cat toy?
I think the feather wand is so much fun. I’ve seen so many quiet and shy kitties spring to life and frolic!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience always works for me. I gradually approach the cat and put my hand out but I don’t actually touch…until trust is built up. Works every time!

Sandy once again provided excellent care for our two cats. She is a great communicator and followed our instructions to a T. She even helped with some housekeeping tasks, which was so appreciated! Sandy did an impeccable job caring for our two cats while we were away. First, she made an accommodation in her schedule on short notice to fit my reservation in. The Meet & Greet was wonderful; she immediately showed me how comfortable she was around our cats. Sandy was extremely punctual, and we could expect updates at about the same time every day, save one day (that she warned us about weeks in advance). This was important to me, and she did not disappoint! It was clear from her updates that Sandy was thorough in caring for our cats. She let me know what all she did and how the cats were acting during her visit. Even for a 20-minute visit, I felt the updates were very thorough. Her updates and photos were one more thing to look forward to during our trip. I got several photos during each visit, including some very cute photo edits that really solidified for me just how much Sandy seemed to enjoy our cats' company. Sandy is a gem of a cat-sitter, and we will absolutely be reaching out to her again for our next trip.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Renton cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
