Ruby seemed nice and very attentive during the visits with my cats because of the detailed updates she would give, however we had a big gap in our communication. I understand that holidays can get busy, but not visiting my cats until 10PM—especially when my senior cat with cancer needed to be given medication, caused extreme worry. I didn't expect above and beyond services, but based on our conversation and notes we had left behind, I felt there shouldn't have been such concern. It felt like my words were continuously misinterpreted and no follow up questions were asked to clear it up. I don't doubt that she gave my cats great care during her visits, however the time management made it seem like they were lower priority.

Ruby is an amazing cat sitter! She is very diligent and detail oriented, and I felt fully comfortable leaving my kitty in her care. We have an FIV+ cat who usually has some special medical needs at any given time whether it’s dietary restrictions or medications, and none of it phased Ruby at all. Another thing I really loved about Ruby is her cat instincts - our cat is still new-ish to indoor life and people (he was feral most of his life and we had to socialize him in foster care) and as such he is generally scared and nervous around new people. She never pushed socialization on him and let him be, spoke to him from a far, etc. I love to see that in a long term cat sitter so our boy can get comfortable on his own terms in his own time. Some people try to force it with him and it can do more damage than good, it was such a relief how she handled him. Thank you Ruby!!!

I can’t thank Ruby enough for providing excellent care to my 13 yr. old cat while I was gone for a longer trip, including handling multiple meds, specific food requests, and expertly administering subq fluids. Leaving a cat with special needs can be stressful, but Ruby’s extensive experience caring for senior cat/CKD, along with her friendly and gentle approach, put me right at ease. From the first meeting, it was clear Ruby cares about details and knows all right questions to ask. I greatly appreciated how easy it was to communicate back and forth, as well as all the helpful updates. She went above and beyond to make sure Piper was not only fed and medicated, but given lots of play time and snuggles too. I will absolutely be booking Ruby again!

Ruby did a fantastic job caring for our two cats! We have two cats with very different personalities: one who is very social and loves attention and one who usually disappears the moment a stranger walks in. Ruby handled both perfectly and took the time to play and snuggle with our social cat, ensuring he didn't feel lonely, but more importantly, was incredibly patient and respectful with our shy one. By the end of the trip, our shy cat was even coming out to say hello. We also received great updates and photos. Highly recommend!

Easiest recommendation ever! Ruby was super nice and thorough the whole way, from the initial meet & greet to the daily updates and final day/close up. Her experience with older cats in particular stands out, as our 19 year old cat was as calm as can be when we got back from our recent trip. This is a cat that will meow up a storm if we leave her side for a couple of hours, let alone a full week...but she was as calm and happy as ever thanks to Ruby's care and attention while we were gone. Highly recommend, especially if you've got an older cat or ones that may need a little extra care with meds/etc.!!

Fanatastic experience and we could not be happier with Ruby and the exceptional care she gave to our two cats.
