When cat sitting for you, I'll bring that same lov... Cats are my passion! I've had cats all my life, and have had a few from kitten hold all the way through to old age. I consider myself very well-versed in"cat language"cans pride myself on being able to befriend even shy and skittish cats.
When cat sitting for you, I'll bring that same love and enthusiasm to your cat! Whether they've got energy to burn through play time, or they just want to chill together, I look forward to meeting your baby. And if they're not ready to meet me, that's OK! I'm happy to just hang out and catch glimpses of them until they're feeling brave.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I've been cat sitting for about four years now, and have worked with a variety of cat personality types. From confident kitties who were friends with me instantly, to spicy cats who I gradually won over, to shy cats who took their time deciding to be friends. And I've loved getting to look after all of them.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to spend time with all the different cats I meet in this line of work! Cats have always been a passion of mine, and having the opportunity to look after so many different cats is so wonderful. I also love having the opportunity to get to know repeat clients over time, and being able to bond with the cats I see over and over.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
First, I always remember that I'm a stranger coming into their space - of course that would stress them out a bit! I do what I have to do (feeding them, cleaning their litter box, etc) as quietly as possible, and then I let them set the pace of any other contact they may want to initiate. It's all about respecting their boundaries to give them the most comfortable pet-sitting experience I can.

Stella did a great job taking care of my three cats with varying needs/personalities. I felt comfortable knowing she was taking great care and following all instructions. She was quick to respond and flexible dealing with changes when the litter robot had issues while we were away. She was also willing to help feed our ferals we take care of outside. Wouldn't hesitate to book her again

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
