I run a web design business that lets me work from home and be a dedicated full-time sitter. I know that every cat has their own unique personality and routine, so I adapt quickly and keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible while you're gone. I bring a calm and loving presence into every home I stay in, treating your cats as if they were my own and ensuring they’re safe, loved, and well cared for.

As an avid traveler myself, I understand the joys and stress of leaving home. That’s why I aim to be dependable and attentive, treating your home with the utmost respect and security. I want you to have complete peace of mind while you're away. Happy to send regular photos and updates, keep up on plant watering, and anything extra you might need!

Learn More About Brooke

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’m a full-time cat sitter with 10+ years of experience caring for cats of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I have experience in a shelter setting, foster care, and house sitting environments, offering both intensive care (post-surgery support, administering oral, eye, and dermal medications) to regular live-in sitting (anywhere from short trips to several month long-stays). For cat parents, this means your cat receives calm, knowledgeable care from someone highly experienced, attentive, and genuinely invested in their comfort and well-being while you’re away.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My process is designed to give parents total peace of mind from the start. We’ll begin with a friendly intro call to answer any questions and make sure we’re a good fit. I’ll ask you about your cat’s personality, routines, and your home’s needs. Then if you feel comfortable moving forward, we’ll schedule a walkthrough before your departure (either the day of, or a couple days before) where I meet your cat, review care details together, and confirm everything. There’s no surprises and you can leave feeling confident your cat is in capable, attentive hands while you’re away!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Your cat’s safety and your home’s security are always my top priories. I follow each cat’s routine carefully and stay alert to any changes in their appetite, energy, or appearance. If anything seems off, I communicate promptly so you’re never left wondering. I make sure I have your cat’s vet on file and know the nearest emergency location. I double check doors, windows, and locks as I’m coming and going. I bring in garbage pails, collect mail, and leave a porch light on at night to keep your home looking lived-in while you’re away.

Brooke is by far one of the best catsitters I’ve ever worked with! She took excellent care of my cat Bo while I was away for over a week and I didn’t have a single concern while on vacation because I felt so comfortable leaving Bo in the hands of Brooke’s care. My cat was so calm when I arrived home and I could tell that she got so much love and attention while I was away. Brooke sent daily updates with photos to keep me in the loop, which was much appreciated! To top it all off, I came home to a house that was cleaner than it was before I left, so I could just relax on my first day home. Brooke is extremely organized and professional and I look forward to working with her again during my next vacation!

Brooke is an exceptional cat sitter who brings reliability, warmth, and respect to every visit in my home. She really takes her time to understand each of my foster kittens' unique needs and always goes above and beyond to make sure they're well taken care of and deeply loved. Her communication is clear, she has high attention to detail, and I always return to happy and healthy kittens. I only trust Brooke with my kittens and my home, so much so that when she's not available I reconsider my travel plans. I recommend her without hesitation.

I've trusted my cat with Brooke for over five years and recommend her to all my friends with cats. When my cat had eye surgery, Brooke handled eye drop meds with exceptional care and attention to detail. She's always highly accommodating with my last-minute bookings, and I always return to my home being somehow even cleaner than when I left it. Couldn't recommend her more highly.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
