For shy cats, Iām patient and give them the time they need to feel safe and comfortable. For social cats, Iām happy to provide plenty of attention, petting, and playtime.

Communication is important to me, so Iām happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your cat is doing well while youāre away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been caring for cats through TrustedHousesitters for several years and have looked after cats with many different personalities and needs. Iāve cared for shy, playful, independent, affectionate, and senior cats. These experiences have taught me to be patient, observant, and flexible, because every cat has their own personality and routine.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
One of my favorite sits was caring for a very shy cat who hid under the bed for the first few days. I didnāt try to force him to come out and simply gave him space while spending time quietly nearby. Eventually, he became comfortable enough to come out on his own and started playing with me. It was very rewarding to see his trust develop over the course of the sit.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Before the first visit, I like to learn about the catās routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications if needed, favorite activities, and anything the owner wants me to pay special attention to. I follow the ownerās instructions carefully and make sure I know where everything is before they leave. During the visits, I pay attention to the catās behavior and keep the owner updated with messages and photos so they know how their cat is doing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
