Before your trip, I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet if we haven’t met before. This gives you a chance to show me your cat’s routine and preferences, and helps your cats feel more comfortable with a new face... Caring for cats has been a part of my life for years: I’ve happily cat-sat for friends, roommates, and neighbors, and I’d love to help care for your cats while you’re away. I understand that every cat has a unique personality and routine, and my goal is to keep things as calm, familiar, and stress-free as possible.
Before your trip, I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet if we haven’t met before. This gives you a chance to show me your cat’s routine and preferences, and helps your cats feel more comfortable with a new face.
During each visit, I’ll check in at agreed-upon times to feed your cats, refresh their water, and clean the litter box if a broom or vacuum is available. I like to give cats some space during mealtime, then spend quality time with them, whether that’s gentle petting or massage, playtime, brushing, or treats (with your permission). I always follow your instructions and your cat’s comfort level. **For 60 minute visits, I can play up to 20 minutes of singing bowls to help your cats relax if you put this in your reservation request.**
I’m compassionate, patient, tidy, and reliable, and I value clear communication and detailed care instructions. You can trust that your cats will be well cared for and treated with respect and kindness while you’re away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been catsitting on and off for friends mostly in the last 20 years, but have been catsitting professionally since 2024 as I like to have more cat time!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Maintain a clean and healthy environment for the cat and provide emotional support via talking and petting when the owner is away.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am usually available during holidays as I don’t travel during this time. I will make sure your kitties are not lonely!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them space until they get used to me being around. I will try to lure them with treats and massages (one of my favorite things to offer!) and slowly get closer to them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
