Hi, I’m Dianna! 🐱 I’m a Seattle-based cat care specialist with hands-on experience caring for kittens, seniors, and medically complex cats. I share my home with three very loved and very unique kitties!

🐈 I am currently enrolled in a Veterinary Assistant program to continue expanding my knowledge of feline health and behavior. I’m experienced in administering oral medications, eye and ear drops, topical treatments, and subcutaneous fluids. I’m comfortable caring for senior cats, anxious cats, and those with ongoing medical needs.

Each visit follows a structured and attentive routine that includes fresh water refresh, litter box maintenance, feeding oversight, enrichment play, and a detailed photo update so you feel fully informed while you’re away. I adjust my approach to each cat’s temperament and comfort level, allowing them to build trust at their own pace! 🐈‍⬛

I intentionally limit the number of families I work with so I can provide focused, reliable, and thoughtful care to every kitty I see! I especially prioritize clear communication, reliable scheduling, and thoughtful preparation before every booking. 🐾

If you’d like to schedule a Meet & Greet (virtual or in-person) I would love to connect! ☺️

Learn More About Dianna

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I share my home with three very loved cats: Pudding (8, Siamese), Princess (9, Tabby-Calico mix), and Egwene (1.5, Grey Tabby). Each has a distinct temperament that has shaped how I approach feline care. Pudding is highly affectionate and thrives on closeness and consistent attention. Princess is naturally anxious and prefers a calm, patient approach that respects her boundaries. Egwene, our youngest and a rescue from a feral colony, is energetic, expressive, and still refining her social skills. Living with such different personalities has strengthened my ability to read body language, adjust energy levels, and meet cats where they are emotionally; whether they are confident, shy, playful, or sensitive.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Always look for someone who understands that cats are sensitive and perceptive animals. True care goes beyond food and litter as it includes observing behavior changes, emotional cues, and health indicators that cats often communicate quietly!

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! I understand how stressful travel can be during holidays, so I offer reliable availability and thoughtful care when you need it most.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Timid or anxious cats need time, quiet, and reassurance. I approach them slowly, keep my movements calm, and allow them to decide how and when they would like to interact. It is important to me that they feel in control of their space and their comfort level. I focus on creating a peaceful environment with clean feeding and litter areas, cozy hiding spots, and space to move at their own pace. I pay close attention to subtle body language so I can respond thoughtfully instead of overwhelming them. Even shy cats still enjoy enrichment and play once they feel safe. With patience and consistency, most begin to relax and show their true personalities.

Dianna is absolutely amazing. Both of my babies felt comfortable with her. Even though she was here for Susu only, (subcutaneous fluid) she interacted with Paisley, who rewarded her with a belly exposure on her first visit. She is professional and competent and Susu's treatment was successful.

Dianna was phenomenal! She dropped in several times while I was away to take care of my old gal Ming Ming. Ming Ming has kidney disease and requires subcutaneous fluids 4-7x/week and Dianna came in to take care of that. She always made sure that Ming Ming was comfortable and sent such thoughtful updates about how Ming was doing and how the fluid administration went. This was my first time being away from Ming Ming since we began her subcutaneous fluids treatment and I was initially so worried to be away, but after Dianna's first update those worries dissipated beause I knew Ming was in good hands. I would absolutely rebook Dianna and I know that Ming would love to see her again!

While Dianna was polite and respectful, our cats needed to be separated and she had forgotten to separate them before leaving. Our cats fight if left alone and when we came home it looks like they may have fought and been stressed due to the several piles of puke we found. I do truly feel bad for sharing this but I would not feel right if I didn't let others know about our experience in case they have cats that have bit more specific instructions that need to be followed.

Response from Dianna

Thank you for the feedback. On the singular visit, I missed separating the cats at departure and apologized directly for the oversight. On prior visits, separation was followed as discussed. I take care instructions seriously and now reconfirm critical instructions.

Dianna took excellent care of our senior cats and handled their needs with patience and compassion. Her communication was outstanding, keeping us informed and reassured throughout our time away. She was especially attentive in adjusting to our picky eaters and made sure everyone was eating well and comfortable. Her daily photos were helpful to adjust to their needs remotely, and kind, dependable approach gave us complete peace of mind. We would be very happy to have her care for our cats again and highly recommend her.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
