I’ve been cat-sitting full time overnights (with a dog thrown in every now and then) on another platform since fall of 2024. I have 59 five-star sits under my belt and am excited to add Meowtel to the mix! I have been spending 8 months of the year in the Seattle area so I could be near my father who was in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s. He passed over the summer, but I’m still here! I have commitments in the Seattle area though most of 2027 so, I’ll be around for the indefinite future!

My family in Tennessee has three cats now. Ninja is the three-legged cat who surprises us all with his strength (and ability to melt on your lap). Soma is the great adventurer and Osa is the one who prefers to lie about all day only trusting his favorite people who he loves deeply.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love what I call “fishing for cats” - any kind of pile with a toy at the end. I get a kick out of running it along the ground and then up in the air, watching the cats prepare and then leap!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I think it’s important to remember the cat is in charge. I’m happy to give them space or cuddles, whatever works for them :)

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
