It's our second time having Pat cat sit. We're so thankful for Pat's patience with our last minute notes about our cat having some anal gland issues right before we left for our trip. Pat puts us at ease with all the detailed updates, as she kept a close eye on our cat's behavior and litterbox use at each visit. Our shy cat thoroughly enjoyed Pat's company at each visit, which is a huge relief for us. Many many thanks, Pat!

Pat was the epitome of kind and calm from our intro meeting through her entire weeklong stay (overnights) with our feisty cat. She exceeded all expectations with imaginative play and daily pictures/updates. We returned to a tidy home and a happy kitty. Will definitely ask for Pat next time we travel!!!

This was the fourth time Paterla has looked after my cats, Krayt and Kreia, and I couldn’t be happier with her care. I have to preface this by saying that, of the six cats I’ve had over the last 20 years, these two littermates are by far the shyest. They usually only responded to my husband and me. Since my husband died, they’ve had to meet more people who have helped me during my grief, but most visitors are met with wary distance. Something changed after Paterla started caring for them. By the end of her first or second visit, they were already brave enough to walk near her—a huge milestone. On this most recent trip, they actually became affectionate with her. She sends me photos and thoughtful descriptions of their behavior each time she visits, but this time I was floored: on her last day, both cats gave her side belly. They never do that, not even for most friends—only for me. Knowing that my skittish little ones feel safe and cared for with her is an enormous relief, especially because I travel often and no longer have my husband here to look after them. Paterla isn’t just a wonderful and reliable caretaker—she has genuinely earned my cats’ trust, and that means everything to me. I highly recommend her for anyone in need of loving, attentive cat-sitting.

We cannot thank Pat enough for taking such good care of our only cat, MoMo, when we were away. Pat made sure all of MoMo's needs were taken care of at each visit and also sent pics/updates after each visit, which was very helpful and reassuring. Pat took the time and effort to bond with MoMo during her visits and it makes our cat feel less lonely when we were away. Thank you so much, Pat!

This was the 4th time we had Pat take care of our 3 kitties. She is so great! All of our cats take daily medication and Pat always ensured everyone took theirs. Even when our cats would spit out the medicine, Pat found ways to trick them and make sure they took it. We feel so grateful to have a cat sitter we feel that we can trust in our home and with our cats when we are away.

Pat was great. She showed up every day at the time she said she would, fed and checked in on the kitties, scooped the litter box, took pics of the cats, and was sure to leave a light on and lock the door. Will use her services again.

Paterla is now a fixture in Krayt and Kreia’s lives because I travel so frequently. they are affections and playful with her even though they typically are shy of strangers. It takes them time to warm up to new people but they seem to remember her now and hang out with her on her visits. This is such a relief knowing they’re in good hands when I travel. My poor cats have moved around quite a lot in the last couple years but we have finally settled in the Seattle area and unfortunately for them I had a trip planned right after we got our apartment. Paterla stepped in to look after them while I was gone. They’re both really shy but after a few days my boy Krayt started talking up a storm and my girl Kreia “allowed” Paterla to pet her (she’s very withholding 😂). I got daily updates with photos and a breakdown of what the visit was like. I felt very comfortable even though I have major separation anxiety. I immediately signed up with Paterla for my next trip in a few weeks. I believe she is thoughtful, caring, and definitely patient with my scaredy cats for them to come around.

I was away for a speaking engagement, which meant I couldn’t check in on the cameras very often since I was either on stage or with colleagues. Having Paterla there gave me such peace of mind—she always sends thoughtful updates and photos, and my usually shy cats continue to grow more comfortable and affectionate with her each visit. What really stood out this time is how much less stressed my cats are when I travel now. They’ve learned to expect the care they’ll get from Paterla, and instead of punishing me with hours of cold shoulder when I get home, I’m greeted with cuddles right away. Knowing they feel safe with her makes traveling so much easier. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, reliable cat sitter.

Pat is great with our two orange boy cats who loved playing with her. She is responsive to my texts while I was abroad in Mexico. She kept the litter box clean and changed the water fountain every day just as we (and our cats) expected. I highly recommend Pat!

This is my second reservation with Paterla and both went very well. my cats are shy of strangers but before the first reservation ended they’d come out to hang with her. By the second one, it looks like they were their normal food demanding selves. I have severe separation anxiety but I feel good about my cats being taken care of by Pat while I travel, which happens often now. I highly recommend Paterla for your cat babies. We were away for a much longer trip so I was a bit nervous about that, but Pat made sure to give my cats the best cuddles and always ensure they had a clean box and nurtured appetite. I had Pat stay for overnight visits and left her with fairly complex instructions for my two cats who don’t get along yet. she did great and also sent great updates. I came home to happy, relaxed cats.
