I have worked in many animal care settings ranging from kennels, day care, small and exotic animal hospitals to teaching veterinary hospitals. I am currently an owner of cats and have had dogs, turtles, birds, mice, hamsters, rabbits, gerbils and fish. I love all animals and would love to fill my available time caring for and getting to know your pets.
Whether your cat is playful and energetic or shy and reserved I tailor my care to meet their unique needs and personality. I am trained in administering medications, recognizing signs of distress or illness and providing a calm nurturing environment that helps your cat feel safe and loved while you are away. I treat every cat in my care as if they are my own- ensuring they receive the attention, affection and respect they deserve. My goal is to give you a piece of mind knowing your feline friend is in loving capable hands.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I am started cat sitting in 2025 and am very experienced caring for cats as a lifelong cat parent. I have also cared for many other animals from fish, rabbits and dogs. I know that each animal is special and needs individual care.

What is your favorite cat toy?
I think the toys on a string or rod are fun to play with. My younger cat is really into the little fuzzy snakes with bells.

I travel frequently and trust Marie completely with my 12-year-old girls. They love her! I always come home to happy, healthy, and well adjusted kitties! When Marie is here, I worry about nothing. She monitors the cats’ behavior, food intake, any food intolerances, and anything in the house that could be a problem (such as a leaky toilet next to the litter box this last time)! She’s, quite simply, the best.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
