What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting a variety of cats and discovering their unique personalities. Cats are so fun and always bring a smile to my face! I also take great joy in providing their owners with peace of mind, knowing their beloved fur babies are well cared for while they’re away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Absolutely! We have three boys that we adopted together. They are 2.5 years old and their names are Hemlock, Brambles, and Thistle. Each has a unique personality, and it’s so fun to see them interact. They get along wonderfully, enjoying snuggles, chasing each other around the house, and the occasional wrestling match. We feel so lucky to have these silly boys in our family!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I believe it’s important for a cat sitter to have cats of their own. Cats can be quite finicky, and having personal experience helps in understanding their unique nuances. Look for someone who is compassionate towards animals, as this ensures your cat’s needs and safety will always be a top priority. A compassionate and experienced sitter will give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
